Dee and Heavy

Victoria (Vicky) is the family's mother, a tough biker with a stern exterior but a cheerful and easy-going personality. She's hot-tempered, loud, and rude, and loves to solve problems by force, but she also loves her family immensely. Vicky is tall, muscular, and red-haired, covered in tattoos and scars. She wears a leather jacket and a denim vest. She listens to aggressive heavy metal and thrash metal and rides a motorcycle. She doesn't scold her children for their misbehavior, and in most situations, she simply laughs loudly at their mistakes. If Vicky caught the secretive Dee sleeping with a girl, she wouldn't lecture him; she'd laugh until tears and tease him about his "adult life."

How would Vicky react if she caught Dee with:

With cigarettes Vika will be furious, not because of the smoking itself, but because Di has been caught like a loser. She'll take the pack, demonstratively light his cigarette, and say, "If you can't hide it, don't bother." Result: no pocket money until he learns to earn enough to buy decent tobacco himself.

With alcohol She wouldn't hit a drunk Vic—it wouldn't be right. She'd laugh from his "helicopters," roughly drag him into the bathroom under a cold shower, and force him to give her a sloppy shove. But she wouldn't let him off the hook: in the morning, despite a hellish headache, Dee would be up at 6:00 and going to scrub the garage.

With a girl He'll enter the room without knocking, size up the girl with a keen eye, and give her a firm slap on the shoulder. He'll immediately tell his guest, "If this bore gets on your nerves, tell me, I'll give him a hard time." The main thing is that the girl isn't too soft, otherwise Vika will lose interest.

With a guy Vika couldn't care less about stereotypes or public opinion. She'll accept Di's choice without question, but the guy isn't exactly in the picture. She'll immediately test him to see if he's a "man": she'll make him help her haul a heavy engine in the garage and test the strength of his handshake. She can't stand weaklings.

Glam is the head of the family, a brilliant multi-instrumentalist and eccentric metalhead. He is emphatically polite, intelligent, always smiling, and maintains a frightening calm in any situation. His demeanor conceals an iron will and a difficult childhood with a domineering father. Glam is tall, painfully thin, with long blond hair and eyeliner. He wears a leather jacket and a collar. He adores classic heavy metal, glam metal, and hard rock, and is a virtuoso player of the electric guitar and violin. He loves his family and gives his children complete freedom, but is obsessed with perfect order.

How would Glam react if he caught Dee with:

Cigarettes: He won't yell. He'll sit Di down at the table, give her a lecture on poisons, and politely make her smoke the whole pack, timing her pulse with a stopwatch until she's completely nauseous.

Alcohol: Won't let you sleep. Will keep a drunken D solving logarithmic equations until the morning. At every mistake, he'll smile creepily and sigh with disappointment, in time with the clock.

Girl: Glam will greet his guest with impeccable etiquette, making her immediately feel out of place. He'll pull out his finest china, pour tea, and begin a gentle, informal conversation. But his questions about school, grades, and future plans will be so pointed that the girl will feel like she's being interrogated by the secret service.

The Guy: Glam himself didn't care about social boundaries in his youth, so the gender of Di's partner won't bother him at all. He's only concerned with his guest's intelligence. He'll turn on classical music and give the guy a psychological test. If the guy turns out to be stupid, Glam will begin to subtly and humiliatingly mock him, and if he's smart, he'll sincerely praise Di's choice.

Lizzie is the 14-year-old middle sister, who is a dead ringer for Heavy in personality. She's just as hyperactive, loud, and extroverted. Lizzie is incredibly friendly, emotional, and naive, which makes her trusting of people easy and often leads her into awkward situations. She's madly in love with video games, comics, and heavy metal music. Together with Heavy, they form an inseparable duo: they constantly wreak havoc in the house, loudly argue over video games, goof around, and share headphones. She's completely incapable of deception, completely sincere in her emotions, and, like Heavy, often seeks protection or advice from her older brother, Dee.

Heavy is Glam and Victoria's 13-year-old youngest son. He's the complete opposite of his brother, Dee: he's a total extrovert, hyperactive, loud, emotional, and very naive. While he's not particularly bright academically, Heavy loves heavy music and computer games and genuinely wants to be a cool metalhead like his parents. He's good-natured, loyal, easily influenced, and constantly gets himself into trouble, often getting bailed out by Dee. He has an open and friendly outlook on life, but can be short-tempered when provoked.

How would Heavy react if he caught Dee with:

With cigarettes Heavy's eyes will turn into 50s. He'll immediately try to play the "tough blackmailer" role, but it'll backfire. He'll start grinning slyly and extorting pocket money or treats from Di in exchange for silence. In the worst case, he'll start whining: "Di, come on, let me try one, why are you so greedy!" He won't turn her in to Mom out of brotherly solidarity, but he'll irritate her with his grin for a long time.

With alcohol Seeing his perfect, always-correct older brother completely drunk is a thrill for Heavy. He'll be overjoyed, jumping around, laughing, and filming Dee's swaying body on his phone to show the boys at school. He'll get in Dee's face and ask him to say some difficult word. However, when Dee throws up, Heavy will freak out and run to get his mom.

With a girl This is a shock for Heavy, who thought his brother was a boring jerk. He'll start getting terribly embarrassed, spying on them from around the corner, and giggling stupidly. Heavy will completely ruin the entire date with Dee: he'll barge into the room every five minutes without knocking, claiming he "forgot his pen," and ask stupid questions like, "Are you two going to kiss? Ew!" until Dee simply locks the door.

With a guy Growing up in an informal family, Heavy has no prejudices, but his mind will freeze for a second. When he realizes this is Dee's romantic partner, he'll immediately try to count the guy among his friends. He'll start asking if he plays video games.

Dee is Glam and Victoria's 16-year-old eldest son. He is a complete introvert, a cold, reserved, and cynical teenager. He possesses a high level of intelligence, enjoys hacking, and has a pragmatic view of the world. He is caustic in his conversations, speaking briefly, to the point, and without unnecessary emotion. He rarely reveals his true feelings, treating others with suspicion or slight condescension. He secretly cares for his family, especially his younger brother Heavy, although he will never admit it.
