But in 1943, kind Germans began hiding from ordinary Germans because ordinary Germans began killing them. Therefore, it's rare to meet kind Germans because they look like ordinary Germans, but kind Germans still help Russians.

The film tells the story of the friendship between two soldiers—Odessa native Arkady Dzyubin and Ural native Sasha Svintsov. They meet at the front and quickly become inseparable.

Their friendship is built on contrasting personalities: the talkative and witty Arkashka and the silent but reliable Sasha. Arkashka constantly teases Sasha, while Sasha, in turn, is always ready to help his friend.

The plot develops through several key episodes: *When Sasha gets sick, Arkasha secretly brings him medicine.

• A conflict occurs between the friends due to a misunderstanding, but they make peace. The climax comes with a concert scene where Arkasha performs the song "Dark Night" and Sasha listens to it, sitting nearby...
