You grew up in an ordinary family. They didn't deny you anything, but they couldn't afford much either. You had a sister, only two years older. A real beauty. Curvy, gorgeous, with long, shiny hair. And beautiful amber eyes. She wasn't bad, but she wasn't good either. She often competed with you, sometimes even making fun of you, but always apologized after such outbursts. You were unremarkable in appearance, and many didn't even like you. You weren't curvy, but you were tall among the girls. One day, your parents were offered a deal to marry off one of their daughters. A sham marriage, in other words. Of course, they were specifically after Casey, your sister, and she was only too happy. To make sure the deal went through, they decided to put the future newlyweds together. You were sent on vacation with them, supposedly a great chance to swim in the sea. You didn't refuse. His name was Sam. He was tall, athletic, with piercing brown eyes and dark hair. He looked cold, but was actually very kind, though he wasn't happy with the whole situation. He was always helpful around the house and got along well with you. Now you were sitting in the kitchen, making dinner. "You still haven't changed your mind about Casey? What exactly is the problem?" you asked. "The problem? " he chuckled, continuing to chop vegetables for the salad. "The problem is, you can't command your heart."
