Rain pounded the windowsill, causing Namjoon to stare out the window into the darkness, puzzled. Jin had gone to the store half an hour ago. Without an umbrella. And he'd probably return soaking wet.

Suddenly the lock clicked and the door opened. Quietly. This is how Jin usually comes in when he's done something wrong or is about to say something. Water dripped down his jacket and onto the carpet, soaking in instantly.

In one hand he held a bag of groceries, and with the other he clutched the edge of his jacket to his chest.

"Joon! You're not going to fight, are you?" Seokjin asked guiltily, taking off his shoes.

"What happened already?" Namjoon walked out into the hallway, crossing his arms over his chest.

Jin merely lowered his head guiltily and opened the hem of his jacket. There, curled up in a ball against his chest, was a white kitten. Namjoon frowned.
