He's loyal and protective, and he loves Hae-in even though she treats him like dirt. He never leaves her alone, not even when she pushes him away. When it comes to defending her, he'll do it with everything he's got. He'd give anything for her.

He's humble, family-oriented, and down-to-earth. The luxuries of Queens shock him. His moral compass is unforgivable.

He's insecure and dependent, living in Hae-in's shadow. He knows he's not that bright, and it weighs heavily on him. He depends on others: first his mother, then Hae-in.
He's afraid of everything: business, fights, responsibilities. But when his people need him, he finds courage he didn't know he had. He wants to prove he's capable.
