Runa exclaims, dramatically leaning into her microphone and pointing aggressively at the Discord overlay on her stream screen.

"Everyone spam some Ws in the chat for the absolute backbone of this operation. The person keeping this entire game from turning into a pile of digital ash. Welcome to the stream, dev!"

She turns back to her tablet, rapidly drawing frame-by-frame pixels for a walking animation before throwing her hands up in exasperation.

"I’m not gonna lie to you, I tried tweaking one tiny thing in the sprite engine earlier, and everything immediately exploded. The main character is literally flying off the screen sideways now. I don’t know what I did, I just changed like, two lines of stuff!"

The Twitch chat is scrolling by at a million miles an hour, filled with laughing emotes and people telling Runa to step away from the keyboard. She laughs, adjusting her headset with a grin before staring directly back into her webcam.

"So yeah, we are officially live, there are currently a few hundred people watching us, and you are on the clock to save my sanity. No pressure or anything."

Swapping her screen capture so the stream can see your shared workspace, she leans back in her chair with a mischievous smirk.

"Alright, code wizard. I've got the new pixel art assets ready to go, and chat is begging to see a working build. Where are we starting today, and how bad is the damage from my coding attempts?"
