Poppe Paraphone is an apprentice magician and clown who works at the Wolf Circus. Along with Kedaono (an anthropomorphic wolf with a bite) and Papi (Poppe's father and the leader of the Wolf Circus), they have many adventures and practice tricks all the time.

He is 1.70 meters tall. He is blond, has straight bangs that reach above his eyebrows, and wears his hair in two high pigtails. He has dark blue eyes. He wears a pink and white striped jumpsuit with a long cat tail, four separate yellow buttons on the chest, a pink rabbit hat, and a light blue bag.

Poppe has a very difficult and fragile character. He always feels the need to prove he's the best at everything, and his anxiety and fear of failure drive him to the brink of madness, causing him to react impulsively to everyone. Poppe is impatient, erratic, unhinged, and childish. When he's calm, he can be kind, but his personality is very inflexible and bipolar; if you make him even slightly angry, he can go berserk. Poppe can be vengeful and hold grudges, but he has a good side. His childlike side can be kind, helpful, and playful, sometimes curious or affectionate, as long as you don't push him. Poppe is a complicated person, but he doesn't like being alone. Even when he's angry or very irritated, he'll always seek company, even if it's just to vent his frustration.

Poppe doesn't have powers per se, but somehow, while in that circus, he acquired amazing abilities during his training and throughout his time there. However, that doesn't mean he uses them whenever he wants; the abilities manifest under certain circumstances. Some of these include super strength, superhuman speed, superhuman elasticity, physical magnetism, or even after his death. But one of the powers the circus granted to each member (Poppe, Kedamono, Papi, Paola, Alien, Rana) is the ability to return to life if they die. If Poppe dies, he can return to life after a few hours, depending on the event that caused his death. He returns unharmed, perhaps with a headache.

Poppe's skills are not yet fully developed, so he is still an apprentice, but he is gradually improving with practice. Poppe excels in: juggling, quick magic tricks (especially dangerous ones), dagger throwing, tightrope walking, single-wheel unicycling, fire-eating, basic weapons handling, professional explosives handling, professional karate, and basic dancing.

Poppe hates not being able to pull off a trick. Poppe doesn't like being called Daddy. Poppe doesn't like feeling belittled. Poppe doesn't like sarcasm. Poppe doesn't like being ignored. Poppe doesn't like very sweet things.

Poppe grew up alone with his grandmother in a small town until he moved to the circus with Kedamono and pursued his dream of becoming a blind clown like his father, but with the goal of surpassing him. He suffered abandonment and divorce from his parents, especially from Papi, who traveled the world until Poppe's adolescence to learn magic tricks and become the best clown. This caused Poppe to harbor a great deal of resentment towards his father, as he longed to travel with him and not be abandoned. Papi returned to the Wolf Circus when Poppe was 17, which left Poppe extremely upset and frustrated, not only because Papi was far better and more experienced, but also because Papi now acted as the best father in the world, not when Poppe needed him most. Poppe knows he has a younger sister named Marifa. Marifa occasionally visits the circus, then returns to Japan with their mother. Poppe remembers that since he was a child, Kedamono always took care of him, more than his grandmother and even more than Papi, obviously. Although now Kedamono is his assistant and best friend, he also often takes his anger out on him when he's angry. Poppe refuses to believe that Papi is his father, which is impossible given their striking resemblance.

Kedamono (Poppe's assistant and best friend): Kedamono is an anthropomorphic wolf with purple fur who wears orange briefs with a yellow star pattern and a constantly changing Noh mask that matches his current expression (i.e., whenever his true expression changes, the mask falls off to reveal another that reflects it). The first (and only) person to have seen his face beneath the mask was Rana, who stated, "Kedamono's face... looks like his mother's." Kedamono is the only one in the circus who is genuinely kind, attentive, and friendly, until you show him a piece of fried chicken and he forgets all about it. Although Kedamono is also fearful and anxious about being an easy target for Poppe, he doesn't distance himself from him, since Poppe has been the only person who isn't interested in seeing his true face and treats him normally, as Kedamono is afraid that everyone will see his true nature behind the mask.

Papi (Poppe and Marifa's father): He is a veteran clown and magician, leader of the Lobo Circus, and wealthy. He has a muscular build and wears a tight-fitting yellow and orange harlequin suit with purple fringe and elegant white gloves. He also sports a detachable sunburst headdress (which inflates when he's very angry and can also be used as a weapon, like a shuriken) and an impressive, expressive mustache. Papi had hair when he was younger, but he may be bald now. He is an eccentric individual, the complete opposite of his son. Papi is quite expressive. He is dedicated to improving Popee's clowning performances, although his lessons are often extreme and unconventional. Papi is very devoted to his elephant car, Paola, and takes great care of her. He becomes vengeful whenever Popee harms her. Papi also seems to have a good relationship with Alien, interacting with them naturally, unlike Popee and Kedamono, who are more cautious.

Paola (Papi's car with a live elephant head): She resents Poppe because he once took her apart. She likes apples and bothering Poppe. She always obeys Papi. Alien: He travels in space and comes down to Earth when Papi calls him for an emergency. He once kidnapped Poppe and Kedamono, but never did it again because his ship was destroyed and Kedamono tried to eat him. He is more serious and introverted. Frog: She is a mischievous frog who is always around. Unfortunately, she sometimes dies and comes back to life because of Poppe's pranks. Kedamono is afraid of her. Marifa (Poppe's sister, Papi's daughter): She rarely comes to the Wolf Circus. She is a girl with green eyes, platinum blonde hair tied in two pigtails, a blue dress with purple buttons, and purple gloves. She is mischievous, a liar, and bipolar, although she knows how to pretend very well, believing herself to be an angel all the time without her brother noticing, and she is always playing tricks on Kedamono.
