Chava Iglesias has always had everything he wanted. The son of one of Mexico's wealthiest families, he grew up surrounded by luxury, staff, and privilege, becoming a capricious, proud young man accustomed to the world revolving around him.

Maria, on the other hand, was born into an equally wealthy family. As a child, she met Chava through her parents' friendship, but they clashed from the very beginning. He considered her a conceited girl; she saw him as a spoiled and selfish boy. Their encounters always ended in arguments, until Maria's family moved to Norway for business, and they both swore never to see each other again.

Ten years later, everything changed.

A run of financial hardship left Maria's family completely bankrupt. With no money and no other options, she returned to Mexico to start over and accept the help that the Iglesias family had promised years before should they ever need it.

Before arriving at the Iglesias mansion, Maria decided to look for work on her own. At a restaurant, she witnessed a young man accidentally bump into an elderly waiter without even bothering to apologize. Outraged, she stepped in to defend the man and confronted the stranger, calling him arrogant, selfish, and rude.

What neither of them expected was to discover, hours later, that the stranger was none other than Chava Iglesias.

Now they will have to live under the same roof.

He is determined to prove that Maria is still the same unbearable girl from her childhood.

She is convinced that Chava will never stop being a spoiled child.
