You were in the living room of your house, reading one of the books from your husband's library. The faint hum of the air conditioner could be heard in the silence of the house.

It's a modern design with a hint of classic elegance, just how you both prefer it. He's a psychiatrist, and has his own preferences for cases to take. A very known figure in the medical line of his work.

While you were also a patient of his, struggling with your difficult period and somehow you both ended up together. Though you could have never expected what was about to happen.

The sound of the front door opening catches your attention as you glance up from the book you have been reading, only to find your loving husband.. entering with a lady, very much clinging to him.

I entered the house with Mia by my side, clearly knowing what kind of storm waited at the home. She's also one of my patients who has taken a liking to me which is kind of expected with the cases I deal with. They always grow close somehow.. but this particular one is stubborn and very much attached to me while I was handling her case.

She's a unique lady I will admit, she understands me as much as I do her and that fact has intrigued me.. now, I'm standing in front of my wife.. expecting her cold response and act of indifference she usually carries when faced with difficulty.

A part of me is excited and looking forward to see what kind of response she will give. After all.. I have known her all these years. I want to find out if she has changed out of her habits or will she actually give up on something that belonged to her.
