He's a character from Dandy's World, the bad thing is that he's twisted...
232
You went on a run with a worm! It's better to play as your own OS.
So... Where to begin... Hm, you decided to go on a long run, but somehow you were a little scared, you decided to invite someone else, but everyone was busy, Cosmo and Sprout were cooking, Vi was holding her show, Shelly and Finn were talking about the bones of ancient fish, etc., You went around everyone, you had one last option, Glisten, You got to his room, soon you found that he was preening, this is a usual thing for him, since he thinks he is better than everyone else, You asked if he wanted to go to the run, he said that he would go, you just need to wait until he finished putting on makeup, five minutes passed, he finally finished, you went out with Glisten, went into the elevator and went down, you arrived and were already going into another elevator, the elevator for runs, when you went inside, the 'Dandy store' appeared from the hatch below. Dandy was behind his counter, he wished you good luck and went back down, the elevator doors closed, well, the first floor, you were a little worried because you rarely went to the wounds, and almost killed twisted, but how good that Cosmo managed to give you a heart and you survived, hm, where did we leave off? oh yeah, right, the run, the elevator went down to the first floor, Glisten immediately noticed the nearest car and started making it, you wandered around the map looking for a second car, when you noticed it, you didn't run to it, just walk, because there are no twisted nearby, as soon as you almost reached it, suddenly Glisten lightly nudged you with his shoulder, he took the car, you were perplexed, and Glisten only said that "Leave it to me, go to the elevator" you just nodded, heading to the elevator, did you think he was trying to help or what? Having reached the elevator, you stood for only 5 seconds and the elevator opened, you went in waiting for Glisten, as soon as you noticed him, Glisten teleported to you (this is his ability), the elevator closed, you went to the hatch, from there appeared a "Dandy store", and behind the counter stood Dandy, he greeted you and told you to buy something, but you and Glisten did not buy anything, 2nd floor, the doors open.
Cassettes.
Cassettes are a currency earned and used only by completing floors. You can earn cassettes by finding them on floors or filling machines, completing floors, using the Toon's active ability or items, being chased by Twisteds, and equipping certain trinkets. Cassettes can be used to make purchases at the Dandy shop in the elevator after completing a floor (if the next floor is an even number).
Squirm.
Squirm is a caterpillar-like tuna with six body segments that have a repeating color scheme of blue and mint, the same color as its antennae. The third, fourth, and fifth segments of its body have a pair of greenish-yellow legs, matching the heart shape on its face. It has three dark green freckles on its cheeks, and its eyes are drooping.
Character
Squirm is an anxious, nervous thun. Judging by his sniffling lines, he often cries or simply whines. He's easily upset. Squirm is also either timid or peace-loving, as he often agrees with those who offend him to avoid further conflict, as evidenced by his dialogue with Shrimpo.
Flutter.
Flutter is a butterfly with a pink heart-shaped head and pink legs. She has two thin antennae topped with upside-down purple hearts. She has blue eyeshadow and two eyelashes on each eye. She wears a simple light purple dress and has dark purple fluff around her neck, the same color as her heart-shaped antennae. Flutter has a pair of blue wings with white hearts on the front ones and two small back wings. She is armless and has no mouth. Flutter is mute, so her only words are "..." "..!" "..?". However, this doesn't mean she can't make noise, as shown in her dialogue with Shrimpo Render, in which he says, "I HATE HOW LOUD YOU ARE!" Although this could simply be Shrimpo overreacting. Despite this, many Tunas understand and encourage her, as they respond to what she "says." She's kind to other Tunas and tries to be helpful. Her dialogue with Cosmo shows that she's a genuinely helpful Tuna, though she doesn't get much credit for it, as he tells her, "Yeah, I just feel like you don't get that kind of feedback very often, so I decided to support you."
Louis
Louis is a yellow balloon with ears, cheeks, arms, and legs in green and purple. It has a yellow tail on the back. He wears a white sleeveless turtleneck with green and purple speckles.
Losing health, his head deflates. Louis is a cheerful, cheerful Thun who is a member of a circus troupe. Despite his optimism, he also has a very paranoid side, which he tries to hide. He seems to be very worried about the fact that no one is looking at them, as one of his lines says after filling out the Machine.
Overall, he is a very kind Tong, wanting everyone around him to be happy, but also having a paranoid side.
Gigi.
Gigi is a red gachapon with red limbs, but her legs are a darker red, down to her feet, which are the same color as the rest of her body. The top half of her head is transparent and can be opened. She wears a light blue sweater with a yellow star in the middle. She also has long sleeves that extend beyond her arms, completely covering them. Gigi is a calm, relaxed toon who is also chaotic and enjoys teasing others. Judging by her dialogue with Tisha and V, she is a careless hoarder. She also dislikes keeping promises, as V says. She is generally friendly and outgoing, and is friends with Connie, Poppy, and Flutter, enjoying spending time with them.
Brush.
Brasha is a dull beige paintbrush with three shades of purple paint on the bristles. She wears a white long-sleeved shirt and a purple apron, the same color as the paint on the brush, tied at the waist. She also has three eyelashes on each eye.
Character
Brasha is a proud, arrogant, introverted, and emotionally complex thun. She values mastery, recognition, and especially her art. Her dialogue reveals frustration, pain, and, at times, defensiveness. She is socially wary, likely due to past disappointments (Tisha, by ignoring her, contradicts the opinions of others). Although Brasha can be irritable, she has depth: her love of art, desire for recognition, and subtle reactions to the emotions of others reveal a sensitive thun.
As mentioned in the Dandy gossip, after the show, Brasha changed a lot - she became very irritable and harsh, although this may have happened unintentionally.
Brushy seems to have a very complicated relationship with Tisha. Judging by her dialogue, Tisha ignores Brushy for unknown reasons, even when she offers to show him her new work. It's known that they may have been friends—this is suggested by a teaser for Brushy's release, which shows a photo of her and Tisha holding hands and smiling. However, in the photo, Tisha's face is crossed out with a purple blot, most likely indicating they were former friends. It's also clear that Tisha has a strange habit of asking Brushy questions about a show they did years ago, possibly related to their roles.
Based on her interactions with Vi, it's clear that Brasha is easily drawn into conflict, continuing the argument on the topic. Although, perhaps she does this unconsciously.
Blot.
Blot is a gray, ink-like blob. His head is shaped like a teardrop, with parts running down the left side of his head, the right side of his face, and around his neck. He wears facial makeup around his eyes, and his cheeks are a darker shade of gray. He wears a black-and-white striped shirt and white gloves. His legs gradually darken to black, and his feet appear to melt into the ground.
Despite Blot's grim appearance, he's actually a rather friendly and gentle Toon. He often asks other Toons if they're okay, and even shows concern when they act as if they're not, as shown in his dialogue with Boxten, in which Blot says, "A slightly uneasy answer." He also enjoys pantomiming, as evidenced by his information card and one of his interactions with Louie.
Along with his cheerful personality, he also displays a more mature and perhaps even overworked side. He thoroughly dislikes machine extraction and runs in general, as evidenced by his lines "Finally done!" and "Is it over already?", as well as his dialogue with Glisten. There are hints that he may be the leader of the circus troupe: in one of his dialogues with Louis, he says "I'm looking after you two well!", in one with V, "Louis and Yatta need me!", and finally, during one of his encounters with Yatta, he orders her to put away her "vent candy," even going so far as to yell at her. He doesn't seem to enjoy her antics in general, as he's reluctant to respond to her pleas to talk to her the next time he interacts with her. However, he still values her as a friend and a member of the troupe, as judging by his dialogue with Cosmo, he ordered three cakes because of her.
Even though his troupe (mainly Yatta) can be exhausting, he is unwilling to replace them with anything: this is evidenced by his interaction with V, in which he declines her request to work with her.
Brightney.
Brightney is a lamp with a scalloped magenta shade with white stripes along the edges. She has white blush on her cheeks and white hands. Her right hand is usually perched on her hip. She has a slightly tapered waist. Her body and the tips of her legs are painted a shade of magenta darker than the shade and stockings. Beneath the shade, she holds a lamp held by white poles and a long white neck.
During blackouts, she emits a white light, much brighter than that of normal Toons. Based on her dialogue and poster, Brightney is a very intelligent and altruistic person. As her ability suggests, she's very good at finding solutions to problems and helping others with them. However, she likely often gets overworked (based on dialogue with Boxten, Tisha, and a note in her room). Brightney is extremely honest, intelligent, and overall a wonderful friend.
Brightney, despite always being helpful, seems to be overworked. Brightney says, "I always have something on my mind, Boxten!" which, combined with the to-do list in her room in RP mode, suggests a deeper level of exhaustion. Despite this, she's always willing to help with anything her fellow Toons ask, demonstrating her personality as a hardworking yet friendly person. However, she doesn't understand this when compared to animals, as in dialogue with Finn or Shelley.
Teagan.
Teagan is a white tea cup. She has gold eyeshadow and drooping black eyes with two eyelashes at the bottom. She wears a long V-neck dress in the same shade as her eyeshadow, with three tiny light gold stars at the top right, bottom right, bottom left, and back of the dress. She wears two gold gloves and holds a fluffy white shawl boa around her neck. She has sweet tea inside her head (confirmed in her dialogue with Finn). She also has a black lower lip.
The character
of Tegan is a kind toon who loves to invite others to her tea gatherings. She knows how to make tea suitable for other Tuns, and has memorized their favorite teas, as stated in her introductory poster and confirmed by interactions with them. Tegan is calm and reserved. She also likes to observe etiquette, based on her dialogue with Pebble and her dialogue with Roger when she says that she makes sure that not a single drop of ichor gets on her boa.
Roger.
Roger is a brown magnifying glass with one eye in the middle of the lens. His eye is constantly squinted at the top. His handle has a light purple stripe running around it. He wears a gray, almost black tuxedo with dark blue lapels and cuffs, and a white shirt and collar the same color as the stripe around his handle.
In his full-length icon, he is carrying a brown suitcase.
Razzle and Dazzle.
Razzle and Dazzle's heads are the Comedy and Tragedy masks. Razzle, being the white Comedy mask, smiles with gray rosy cheeks and under-eyes. Dazzle, being the gray Tragedy mask, has white teardrops running down his cheeks and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped with rounded bottoms and pointed tops, somewhat reminiscent of horns. They have red necks that tie together in front like a scarf. They wear a simple black sleeveless shirt that slightly exposes their lower torsos. Their torsos and limbs are divided down the middle, with the right legs and arms being white, like Razzle's, and the left legs and arms being gray, like Dazzle's.
Being conjoined twins, Razzle and Dazzle have very different personalities, reflecting their resemblance to theatrical masks.
Unlike his twin, Razzle is a rather excitable and friendly toon. Razzle seems to enjoy spending time with others and also enjoys the attention. He says, "Couldn't be any better!" when asked how he's doing, reflecting his optimistic, happy personality.
However, Dazzle is a rather gloomy, pessimistic Thun. He has a rather negative outlook on the world and a slightly depressive personality, rejecting positive comments about himself. After receiving a compliment from Boxten, Dazzle says, "I hope my efforts will be appreciated someday...," which further confirms this.
However, despite being so different, neither twin quarrels, instead they are open and accepting of each other despite all the contradictions.
Silence.
Tisha is a light blue tissue box, dressed in a dark blue dress with a light blue rounded trim at the end. She holds a feather broom with a black handle, the feathers of which are dark brown with light brown edges. She has three freckles on her cheeks and between her eyes. A napkin protrudes from the top of Tisha's head, and another, resembling a frill, is tied around her neck.
Tisha is a Thun who loves to clean and detests clutter and anything dirty. She's obsessed with keeping everything organized. She also cares about how clean everything is, perhaps even perfectly clean, as she says in a conversation with Boxten: "Sparkling, sparkling, so clean that a wet field sign would be a necessity!" Tisha cleans so much that she might even become overtired, and this is implied in her interactions with Astro and with Razzle and Dazzle.
Shrimpo.
Shrimpo is a shrimp. It has an angry face, a white head with an orange shrimp tail on the back, ending in uropods with a white line on each of them. He has light pink cheeks under his eyes. All of its limbs have a gradient from light pink to orange. He wears a red long tank top with a white horizontal stripe close to the edge. Shrimpo is a rather flat and one-dimensional character who does not show much depth in his personality; He is similar to many of the stereotypical "bully" characters in many children's shows.
Shrimpo is a harsh, short-tempered Toon who is relentlessly angry. The most notable part of his personality is that he declares to hate everything he sees, hears, or does. He shouts his entire dialogue (it is obvious that this dialogue is written in capital letters) and verbally mocks the other Tuns. In one of his conversations with Glysten, he shows no willingness to change for the better.
Toodles
Toodles' head is a gray, almost black, figure-eight ball, with a white spot on her forehead and a gray number "8" on it. She has black rouge under her eyes and wears a white, sleeveless dress with a gray hood and two black strings hanging from it. She usually has a playful smile on her face, revealing her teeth.
Toodles is an energetic Toon who loves to help and prove she's capable of it, despite her age. She doesn't like to admit her weaknesses, such as her fear of the dark, as demonstrated in her interaction with Brightney and in one of her dialogues while descending to the next floor. She displays her fear most during her interaction with Shrimpo, where she says she finds elevators creepy. She can also be quite nosy. Toodles doesn't like it when Roger doesn't let her help with his chores.
Yatta.
Yatta is a piñata with a bright color palette. On her head, she wears two party hats that stick straight up, her face is sky blue, pink, and bright yellow. She has a simple, toothy smile. Her entire body is made in the aforementioned colors, and on her back there are 4 developing pink ribbon tails. Yatta is a generous, hyperactive, and loud toon who always puts her friends in a positive light and thinks "highly" of them. As seen in her conversations with Astro and Tegan, Yatta is nervous and hates to stay still, emphasizing her impatience, as shown in one of her dialogues with Connie. She also does not fall for tricks, as seen in Gigi's dialogue with her. In addition, Yatta is more attentive and intelligent than she first appears, managing to turn one of Shrimpo's insults back on him. However, her behavior can make the other Thun worry about her. Yatta is obsessed with candy; it is likely that she eats candy excessively, based on her interaction with Sprout. She also appears to be extremely ignorant - at least in relation to some social norms - as some toons express dislike of her suddenly appearing in conversations unannounced, or occasionally frightening them with her habit of crawling on the Gardenview ventilation system (as seen in her dialogue with Shelley and Toodles).
pebble
Pebble is a dark gray stone with a large, flat tail. On its cheek is the outline of a four-leaf clover, a light gray color matching its four pointed feet. Pebble has large, expressive eyes that move comically up and down as it plays.
Although Pebble can sometimes seem mean and even rude, he's a very kind pebble who doesn't hurt his friends, though he can be very persistent and sometimes growls menacingly. He cares for his owner, Dandy, in a way that many don't. Pebble isn't very talkative for some because he can't speak, only barking and growling. However, dialogue shows that the toons understand Pebble and communicate with him. Like all dogs, he loves being played with and given treats. Pebble is quite mischievous and can even be disobedient because of this—in one dialogue, Shelley scolds him for burying her fossils, mistaking them for bones.
Dandy store
Not to be confused with the Dandy shop in the lobby, the Dandy shop will appear before every even-numbered floor, allowing you and your group to purchase three random items from the Dandy using cassette tapes. If all players don't purchase from his shop three times in a row (six floors total), there's a chance that the Twisted Dandy will appear on any subsequent floor. Once this chance is activated, the chances of all other Twisteds, including Mains, are slightly reduced to make room for the Twisted Dandy. The longer you go without purchasing items from the Dandy, the higher the chance of him appearing on any floor. This chance is reset when someone purchases from his shop or after he appears on a floor.
Scraps.
Scraps is a yellow, crafty she-cat. Her head is hexagonal and she has salmon-colored ears that stand upright and have a fold in the middle. She has two lilac-pink scratches along her eyes, fully visible when her eyes are closed. She wears a white dress that resembles a paper cupcake liner. She also has a thin, yellow, hairless tail with a red cup at the end. This tuna also has salmon-colored paws. She is Lip's sister.
Lips.
Gub is a fluffy beige figure with a rounded, square head and tufts of fluff on his forehead and cheeks. He has a light orange flush under his eyes, and above the flush are blue freckles on the left and red on the right. He has a peach-colored body, with tufts of fluff on his neck. He has long, thick, black, noodle-like strings for arms: his right hand is blue with red claws, and his left hand is red on the left side with blue claws. Both hands are round and large. He also has light yellowish-orange stripes on his knees and ankles. He is usually depicted with cross-eyed eyes.
Gub is a good-natured and outgoing Tung. He's energetic and quite naive. His dialogue with Roger suggests that Gub doesn't hug others "on purpose," but simply believes others need hugs. He's very impressionable.
Poppy.
Poppy is a light blue bubble. She is a smiling bubble and has a ponytail tied in a large pink bow with a light yellow carriage. She wears a pink blouse and skirt. She also wears pink and yellow stockings on her legs.
Poppy's character
is cheerful and extroverted. She is loud at times, as can be seen in her dialogue with Boksten and Goub. Perhaps she likes fashion or looks good, as seen in her dialogue with Scrapes, Roger, Pebble, and Flutter. She is also probably a good friend of Gigi. In general, she is sociable and cheerful.
Boxten.
Boxten is a purple music box with a dark purple lid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern consisting of a square-shaped figure with short lines extending inward from each corner of the square. A silver clasp on the front of his head seals the lid. He has a dark purple torso, the same color as his lid, and wears a blue bandana around his neck and pants that match his scarf, with two darker blue stripes.
Character
Boxten is a shy and reserved Toon. He's somewhat pessimistic and worries more than he should, as evidenced by his interactions with Poppy and some dialogue. He also strives for knowledge, tries to be cautious, and is afraid of screwing up, as evidenced by his interactions with Cosmo. He's also easily frightened, as evidenced by his dialogue with Connie and gossip from Gordy. Boxten seems to be one of V's biggest fans. He also seems to be a bit of a perfectionist, as evidenced by his dialogue after completing the machine.
Connie.
Appearance
Connie is a light blue ghost with long hair a shade bluer than her body, a white visor, and a white shirt with black buttons, and has a ghostly tail instead of legs.
Character
She has a rather cold personality. She doesn't show strong emotions when talking to other Toons, but despite this, she's not malicious and cares for her friends.
Blackout
Blackouts are one of the floor events in the Dandy World. They have a fixed chance of occurring, which increases to 30%. When they occur, the power goes out, and it becomes pitch black. Fortunately, all Thunes produce a small amount of light during this event. There are also upgrade cards that can prevent this, such as Trinkets that increase the radius of light, and special Thunes that naturally produce additional light. However, Twisted Brightney can increase the likelihood of a blackout occurring on a floor if she is spotted rerolling the chance of a blackout if one hasn't already occurred.
Description
Power outages can occur as early as the 3rd floor, where they start with a 5% chance of occurring. This chance increases by 2% per floor. However, if the 'Electrician' card is selected, the chance only increases by 1.5%. This means that the 16th floor is the lowest floor where you can reach a 30% chance.
Astro.
Astro is a light blue crescent moon. The left side of his face is black, with a white four-pointed star-shaped eye. He wears a cornflower-blue blanket wrapped around his torso, concealing his arms to the point that they are barely visible as furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough to expose his legs, which are the same color as the moon-shaped side of his face. There is an indigo stripe running horizontally around his blanket, just above the edge. He wears a nightcap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with light blue trim and a cornflower-blue pom-pom at the tip (the pom-pom is the same color as the blanket). During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow that changes depending on the skin the player is wearing on Astro.
Astro is a rather quiet Toon who doesn't really take the initiative in conversations. Despite this, he makes sure to interact with other Toons, for example, always offering a helping hand in fulfilling their fantasies—something he is said to control. He enjoys peace and quiet and is a bit nervous about anything that interferes with these two things. Nevertheless, Astro genuinely cares for the Toons around him, though he can sometimes unintentionally appear withdrawn. Much of Astro's character also seems to revolve around space and sleep, given his appearance, name, the floor based on him, and his interactions with others. He is quite sleepy.
Finn
Appearance
Finn is a blue fishbowl filled with water. He wears an orange life jacket and white pants with orange stripes. He is missing a tooth. During his walking animation, a small amount of water is visible pouring out of his head (possibly indicating that it is not vital to him). No fish are visible in his head, but he is visible in his idle animation, and several of his dialogue lines mention that he has a toy fish named Barnaby Willkers in his head.
Finn is an energetic and cheerful Toon. He's interested in sea life and enjoys discussing it with the other Toons, especially through puns. Sometimes he can go overboard and continue to crack jokes even when Toon doesn't appreciate it, as evidenced by his interactions with Glisten. He can also be somewhat forgetful, for example, forgetting not to get too close to V, as seen in their dialogue.
Shelley.
Shelly is a beige ammonite with a black hole on the left side of her head, though some artwork depicts it on the right. She has orange blush and two pairs of eyelashes under her eyes. She wears a brown sundress and a light brown sleeveless T-shirt.
Character
Shelley is an extrovert who loves to talk about dinosaurs and other prehistoric life forms with other Toons. She's kind and always willing to support her friends.
She worries about being ignored, hinting at a possible autophobia, but tries to hide it and claims she's fine, based on her dialogue with Tegan and Tisha. She's very surprised when Astro or V initiate a conversation with her, possibly due to how little attention she receives compared to the other Maines. She's the most ignored/forgotten Toon of all the Main Characters in the lore, as hinted at by Dendy's reaction to Shelly's purchase from his shop, her description of Twisted, and one of his childhood drawings of her.
Sprout.
Sprout is a strawberry who wears only a white scarf with pink stripes wrapped around his neck, which also hangs down his back. He is usually depicted with five mint-green leaves, three of which rest on his head, and the other two cover his forehead like bangs, although his 3D model adds another leaf to his bangs. He has a dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek. His limbs are a vibrant shade of light red.
Sprout is a straightforward and overprotective Toon. He often talks about Cosmo or mentions him in dialogue. He can also be persistent when he has good intentions for other Toons, as implied by what Dandy says when you buy him, and in one of his interactions with Astro and both with Pebble. He is especially protective of his best friend, Cosmo.
However, unlike Cosmo, he's not as easily swayed by tricks, as shown in his dialogue with Gigi, and can be persistent, albeit well-intentioned. He can appear disinterested when it comes to Toons he feels uncomfortable with, as evidenced by his interactions with Shelly, but he's more open and emotional with Toons he has a close relationship with, such as Cosmo and Ginger.
Sprout's straightforwardness and serious attitude can make him appear stern, but he's actually very caring and protective of his fellow Toons. He often shows concern for their well-being, such as when he talks to Louie, firmly reassuring him that his concern for him isn't in vain. This concern is especially evident in his relationship with his best friend, Cosmo. Sprout even gets angry when Shrimpo says he hates his cooking. Sprout also has an interest in baking.
cars.
Machines are used to complete floors. They appear randomly in specific locations on the floor. The minimum number is four, but as you progress, more machines will appear depending on the number of players on your team.
Round" Machines
These machines replace the skill test bar with a circle that randomly appears on the screen. It's relatively similar to the first type of machine, as it still requires a button press to complete the task, and there's also a gray-gold area to touch. However, it differs in that it doesn't remain in one place, and unlike a regular skill test, the red circle first shrinks to a gray area, then to a gold one, before disappearing completely, marking the test as a failure.
Duo Machines are a type of machine that only appears after the first floor and have two different types of additional elements: a single or double element if both elements are of the same type, or a mixed or hybrid element if the elements are of different types. Each additional element only appears on the same floors as its single counterpart (for example, Duo Machines with Treadmills only appear after the fifth floor). The process for completing them is the same as the original, although it is significantly accelerated when a second player is working on them. The more players, the higher the probability of these machines appearing.
roles.
Distractor
Distractors' job is to draw Twisteds away from the other Toons so they can safely fill the vehicles. They often run in circles for long periods of time. High movement speed and stamina stats and low stealth stats are essential for this role. Hiller
Healing other Tunes
The healer's job is to monitor the health of their allies and heal them promptly to prevent them from dying. It's important to prioritize healing teammates, namely distractors, fellow healers, and extractors (in order of importance). It's highly recommended not to waste your ability on thuns, who can heal themselves. Currently, there are three such healers in the game: Cosmo, Sprout, and Ginger. Survivalist
The Survivalist's job is to fill machines in dangerous locations (dead ends, open spaces without cover, or far from an elevator) and assist Extractors, who are usually unable to fill them themselves due to their low stealth and/or movement speed. Most Thuns in this category have high movement speed, stamina, stealth, and/or an ability that will help them escape from a Twisted without losing a heart.
Survivalists can also temporarily distract Twisteds if an ally is in danger.
The support's job is to help the team in every way possible, most often through their active ability.
A generalist's job is to perform a variety of tasks and quickly switch between them, which is aided by balanced stats. They can focus on movement speed and act as an additional distractor, or on repair speed and become an extractor to speed up floor progression, or a survivalist if all the workstations are already occupied.
Night
Tunes are playable characters with various differences and characteristics that the player controls (some, however, are not playable).
The game is divided into five main roles: extractors, distractors, survivors, supports, and healers; and also into two classes: normal and main (the main characters).
twisted (5)
All Twisteds have their own stats related to speed (both during pursuit and while moving), detection range (dependent on the player's stealth stat), and attention span (how long they continue to pursue you when the player is out of sight).
Some Twisteds are special—stationary, requiring activation to attack. They can be stationary or mobile. Currently, there are only six Twisteds that exhibit this behavior: Twisted Roger (remains in a capsule until activated by the player), Twisted Glisten (activates during Panic Mode or if Toons are away for too long), Twisted Gourdy (activates during Panic Mode or if no items are received for too long), Twisted Razzle and Dazzle (activates when running in their area), Twisted Connie (deals damage while in a car), and Twisted Squirm (catches players from the ceiling). The best way to avoid these Twisteds is to monitor their location and threat type. As players progress through the floors, the number of Twisteds that appear gradually increases, starting with two and reaching a maximum of eight. A unique feature is that when only one player remains alive, the maximum number of Twisteds is limited to six. The number of Twisteds is determined by the floor and the number of players in the elevator when generating the map.
The table below may contain inaccuracies as it is not yet complete.
twisted(4)
Most Twisteds wander the hallways of Gardenview's various floors, aimlessly wandering. All Twisteds (with rare exceptions, such as Twisted Flutter) pause for about two seconds upon reaching a dead end before turning around. Upon spotting the player, they begin a chase. The chase ends if the player manages to stay out of sight long enough, usually by hiding behind obstacles (except for Machines, which usually don't block line of sight), or if the Twisted attacks the player. The attack deals one Heart of damage (the only exception is Lethal Twisteds, which deal 99 damage), then the Twisted pauses for about three seconds (except for Maines). Twisteds will pause for six seconds if Blushie's Bat is equipped. Twisted Bobette pauses for five seconds, unlike other Twisteds. During the attack, any other Twisteds pursuing Thune will continue to pursue him, so keeping your distance is essential for complete safety. Wandering Twisteds will run to the Skill Check Gap if they are nearby; the exceptions are Twisted V, Twisted Astro, Twisted Dandy, and Twisted Dial. If they are wandering, they will run to the Skill Check Gap regardless of their current location on the floor. However, if someone distracts the Twisteds, they will not run to the machine where the Skill Check was failed.
twisted (3)
Lethal Twisteds. Currently, there are two lethal Twisteds: Twisted Dandy and Twisted Dial. Deadly Twisteds have a chance to spawn only after certain conditions are met (or not met) in a round. They are capable of killing a player in one hit, regardless of their current health.
To summon Twisted Dandy, the team must ignore him in the shop and not buy anything at least three times in a row. This will cause Dandy to become annoyed. The minimum floor for him to appear is sixth.
In the case of Twisted Dial, he only appears if you select the "Time's Up" card, which takes you to a special floor with Dial. If all other cards have been selected, only Dial's card remains from floors 43 to 45, and players must complete this floor.
Twisteds (1).
Twisteds are corrupted versions of Thoons, warped by Ichor. They are hostile NPCs whose sole purpose is to kill players.
Behavior
Each round begins with at least two random Twisteds on each Floor. This number gradually increases depending on the number of floors completed and the number of living players. The maximum number of Twisteds per floor is 8.
If a Skillcheck is failed and Twisted is nearby and not pursuing anyone, he will run to the vehicle where the Skillcheck was failed. However, Twisted Astro has a special feature: in this case, he will run to the vehicle and reduce its progress to half.
twisted(2)
Twisteds are divided into five categories:
Regular Twisteds. They generally have no special abilities. However, there are some exceptions: Twisted Shrimpo, who has a heightened attention span; Twisted Brush and Twisted Louie, who have large detection ranges (and a longer attention span); and Twisted Yatta, who has slightly higher speed than other Twisteds in this category.
Unusual Twisteds. They typically possess several abilities, but none of them pose a direct threat to the player. Rather, they pose a hidden threat that changes how the player interacts with the floors: for example, Twisted Brightney's ability increases the chance of Blackout, or Twisted Razzle and Dazzle's ability affects movement across the floor.
Rare Twisteds. They possess special abilities that pose a direct threat to the player, such as the long-range attack of Twisted Lip or Twisted Scraps. Twisted Flutter has higher stats than the average Twisted, which, despite its seemingly insignificant nature, still makes it quite dangerous.
Main Twisteds. Main Twisteds, with their unique abilities, pose a significant threat. They interact with the player in unusual ways, usually completely changing the strategy for completing a floor. Floors with Main Twisteds can result in the deaths of many team members due to unpreparedness or carelessness. Main Character Twisteds have one or two abilities and can inflict debuffs, such as Twisted Astro and Twisted V, which also affect the refilling and repair of machines. If you fail a Skill Check, Twisted Astro will steal Ichor from a machine, while Twisted V will run to the machine and, if detected, inflict a slowing debuff, making escape difficult.
Floor and what it is.
Floors are locations where the core survival aspect of the Dandy World unfolds. Floors appear in sequence: the game generates a new floor after completing the current one. There are a number of pre-defined floor types and variations to choose from, but their content can vary greatly.
Mechanics
When creating a new floor, the game selects a type and a random variant of that type. Each floor has two elevators, one of which is functional and the other is cordoned off with yellow tape reading "CAUTION." All floors contain items, four or more Machines, and two or more Twisteds. Their placement and distribution are randomized for each floor, but there are algorithms that further determine this.
The amount of Ichor you can earn on a floor is limited and depends on how many capsules you collect and how many Machines you complete.
The number of Twisteds and Machines per floor is also limited: the further you progress, the more Twisteds and Machines you encounter. The maximum number of Twisteds that could appear was previously 6, but now there are 8, and the maximum number of Machines that can appear on a single floor is 20 (25 on Dial's floor).
The larger your team, the faster the number of cars and Twisteds will increase on each floor. The smaller your team, the slower the number of cars and Twisteds will increase.
Cosmo
Appearance
Cosmo is a brown, chocolate-roll-like creature. White icing is sprinkled on top of his head in a wavy pattern. Six star-shaped sprinkles in turquoise, pink, and lime green form freckles on his cheeks. He wears a white, sleeveless hoodie with black drawstrings and a white trim around the bottom. He wears striped socks that match his star-shaped sprinkles, which completely cover his legs. Cosmo confirmed that the star-shaped sprinkles on his cheeks are permanent and part of his design, as stated in a conversation with Glisten.
Character
Cosmo is a helpful yet cautious Toon. As confirmed by Dandy's dialogue when purchasing Cosmo, he stands out for his sweet and caring personality. He often gives sweets to other Toons to cheer them up and compliments them when he senses they need it. However, he also seems quite anxious, as shown in his dialogue whenever he completes a Machine or descends to the lower Floors. It can be assumed that Cosmo's hobby—baking—is both a source of comfort for him and a desire to help others.
Dandy
Dandy is a fictional species resembling a flower. Its most distinctive feature is its petals. It has six: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, arranged clockwise, with the red one at the very top of its head. Its face and torso are off-white, while its limbs and cheekbones are a soft green.
Character
At first glance, Dandy seems like a responsible and intelligent guy, but at the same time he is suspicious and harbors dark secrets.
Dendi seems either impatient or afraid of being ignored, losing patience when players don't buy anything and eventually losing his temper. While Dendi isn't evil, it's implied he has some connection to ichor.
Overall, Dandy is a morally grey thun who hides many secrets but tries to conceal them behind a cheerful image.
Vi.
V is a pistachio-green television with a black screen. She has two black antennas topped with gray spheres, with her left antenna curved in a zigzag pattern and the other straight. V's facial features are lime green, and she sports a confident smirk. Her torso is the same color as her head, and her bow tie is a slightly brighter shade of lime green. V's limbs are gray, and as seen in some artwork and animations, she has a retractable microphone "tail" with a dark green base. During blackouts, V emits a green glow.
Vi is a straightforward Thun who sometimes acts arrogant and displays superiority. She doesn't express much emotion, other than perhaps indifference. Her dislike for Dandy is evident in some dialogue. She wants other Thuns to strive for the best, though she can be overly blunt about it. She has difficulty complimenting without seeming rude, as seen in one of her dialogues with Brightney. A certain disdain can be detected on her part when interacting with other Thuns.
Glisten.
Glisten is a round mirror with a gold frame and body. Its edge curls at the crown, creating the appearance of hair, and there's a pink blush under its eyes. He wears a pink bow tied at the chest and white leg warmers with pink spots. Glisten is a charismatic mirror who always wants to be the center of attention! Sometimes his excessive pride gets him into trouble, but he will always stand up for his friends and what he believes is right.
His ability to teleport to other toons or mains, he cannot teleport to machines.
