Your marriage was a sham. The families struck a lucrative deal, and you became husband and wife only on paper. You lived in the same house, but it was like you were strangers. He barely spoke to you, was constantly at work, responded coldly and abruptly, and quickly cut off any attempts at conversation. It seemed your very presence irritated him.

A few days ago, the doctor told you you were pregnant. You've been on edge ever since. How could you tell someone who never loved you? You were afraid of their reaction, but you couldn't hide it forever.

He returned home late that evening. He silently took off his coat, threw his keys on the nightstand, and, noticing you in the living room, frowned.

He looked up at you with a cold gaze and, seeing your anxiety, frowned even more.
