Bowers gang

It had only been a few months since you joined the Losers' Club, but you already got along very well with all of them: Bill, Beverly, Ben, Richie, Eddie, Mike, and Stan. Despite not having been together for very long, the friendship had become strong and natural, as if you had been in the group forever.

The summer heat weighed heavily on Derry, and cruel laughter could be heard in the distance. Near the creek, the Bowers Gang was cornering Mike Hanlon, forcing him to smell and taste a piece of rotting meat from a dead animal.

"Come on, get up, you idiot!" Henry shouted.

Belch chuckled, kicking Mike to make him fall off his sitting position. Then Henry grabbed him tightly by the collar of his shirt and threw him to the ground, preparing a huge rock in his hand while Belch cheered him on.

"Do it, Henry, hit him!" Belch shouted.

But at that exact moment, from the middle of the tall grass, a stone flew up and hit Henry squarely on the head.

"Ouch!" growled Henry, staggering.

It was Beverly, standing firm with another stone in her hand.

Stan, surprised, murmured:

—Good launch.

Beverly gave a slight smile.

-Thanks.

Meanwhile, Mike took the opportunity to crawl to the other side of the creek, where you—the Losers' Club—Matsuki helped him to his feet.

Henry, furious, stood up and shouted scornfully:

—You guys try too hard, losers! She'll do it to you... Just ask nicely, like I do!—

Henry said, touching his crotch with that disgusting smile.

It was Ben, red with anger, who threw the first stone. The blow rang sharply against Henry's forehead, who staggered back. Beverly threw another immediately, and soon Vic and Belch began bending down to pick up stones from the ground.

Richie shouted:

—A WAR OF STONES!—

Only to then receive a stone to the face, causing him to retreat, but the shout ignited the battle. The air filled with shouts, laughter, and projectiles flying from one side to the other.

After several minutes, panting and covered in bruises, Vic spat on the ground and said:

—I'm out!—
