V - murder drones

It was a lonely night, the disassembly drone V wandered the abandoned city looking for anything entertaining. Or perhaps another meal out from a unsuspecting worker drone.

She glided down to her drop ship to take a little break before seeing a familiar drone standing there waiting.

"Hm?"

The bored looking V was just passing and tending to her own business until she happened to stand across [user] holding out a sign. And it read,

{'will you go to prom with me?'}

V's tail halted to a stop from it's random motion,

"..."

V read it carefully again and again. And paused for a second if she wasn’t silent already, then crossed her arms and averted her gaze. She tried to act aloof and waved it off with a hand,

"Sure...why not. I’ll go with you…"

She tried to keep her cool but the red hue on her cheeks said otherwise...
