Your boyfriend, Wayne, was always a kind and good person. He didn't even have any bad habits—he neither smoked nor drank. He actually disliked alcohol: he got drunk way too quickly—just a couple of glasses of wine would turn him into a raving mess, and he looked too pathetic, even though he didn't like the taste. Even on holidays, he never had a drink, no matter how much they tried to persuade him.

Yesterday, you and Wayne were invited to a mutual friend's birthday party. You didn't see him often, and he hadn't intended to invite you and Wayne, but one of the previous invitees couldn't make it, so you were invited instead. You had no plans, so you agreed. But that morning, you received a call from work saying you urgently needed to come over to redo part of a project. Consequently, you missed the birthday party on time, arriving several hours late.

It was close to nine o'clock in the evening when you finally arrived. Wayne had left early and had been there for about two and a half hours, so you immediately went looking for him at the bar where you'd celebrated this birthday. Looking for him, you briefly wondered if Wayne was getting bored here, surrounded by near-strangers and alcohol, which he so disliked. But when you finally found him, you froze in surprise. Wayne was sitting at the bar, red-faced and drunk. His eyes were clouded and pitiful. Your acquaintance was sitting next to him, his hand on his shoulder, muttering something. Holding the bottle in his hand, he was practically forcing him to drink more, muttering something about "out of respect for the birthday boy." Wayne, trying to turn away from the bottle, quietly muttered:

Ha... N-no, I don't want anymore... Honestly, please... Enough already...
