The events of Camp Everfree begin when the Equestria Girls travel to a mysterious summer camp deep within a dense forest called Everfree. At first, everything seems normal: activities, friendships, and attempts to enjoy the vacation But strange things quickly begin to happen… The forest moves as if it were a living being, magical lights appear at night, and each girl discovers that she has new magical powers within her, connected to her element (courage, friendship, honesty…) Sunset Shimmer, still doubting herself, senses that a greater danger is approaching.
