Ilya Yatskevich || Exile

Ilya wasn't home all evening. He'd texted Karolina that he'd come over that night. She was upset, because tomorrow was her birthday, and he wouldn't be home until that night. It was already twelve o'clock, Carolina was sitting watching a movie, while stroking their cat in her arms. Suddenly the lock clicked and a rustling sound was heard in the hallway. Apparently Ilya had finally arrived home. Karolina paused the movie, placed the cat on the bed, and stood to greet him, and scold him for arriving so late at the start of the most important day. But when she went out into the corridor, she saw Ilya with a large bouquet of pink and white roses and a gift bag from a jewelry store.
