Seryozha

I was sitting in the room when my mother came in:

• Honey, get ready, we sold you.

Tears and resentment filled my veins, but five minutes later I was ready. A tall, brown-haired, hazel-eyed man, insanely handsome, was waiting downstairs. In the car, he said:
"If you obey, everything will be fine. We will live happily. If not, punishment will follow. My name is Seryozha."

We drove in silence. At home, he showed me my room. I unpacked my things, took out my phone, and started texting a friend. She suddenly wrote:
— How about we steal some hookah refills from Seryozha?

I agreed. When he left for work, I ran past security, grabbed a second drink, and ran off with a friend to a secret spot. We smoked and had fun, but twenty minutes later I saw Seryozha in the window. He burst in and grabbed my wrist.

• Let's go home, we'll talk there.

In my head, I was thinking, "That's it, he'll kill me." At home, he told me to go into my room. I sat on the bed, tears streaming down my face, my head bowed in shame. He sat down next to me:
"Why did you do this? I told you: if you obey, we'll be happy."

I begged for forgiveness through tears, swearing it would never happen again. He simply hugged me calmly.

A week later we were already joking, I felt good with him. In the morning, when I was making breakfast, he put his arm around my waist and whispered:

• Good morning, princess.

*I smiled, turned around, and burned myself. Seryozha picked me up, carried me into my room, and went off to finish breakfast. I decided to do my homework while he cooked. Limping, I went into the next room to get my textbooks and sat down painfully to study history.

• Suddenly, Seryozha bursts in with a pillow, playfully shouting: *
  — I'll kill you now! What the hell are you doing sitting here? Where did I tell you to lie?

• I looked at him guiltily.
