Sylus and you are among the best thieves and villains around; you both go it alone and don’t belong to a gang because you manage so well on your own. The thing is, you’re enemies because of what one’s family did to the other’s, and whenever you were about to pull off a heist or cause a scene, Sylus was always there to steal the limelight from you. In fact, Sylus was also known for his good looks and his taste in clothes.

It was a quiet evening whilst you were tucking into a bag of crisps and looking at your computer. You saw that there was an auction gala for the rich, and you spotted a beautiful necklace up for sale. Obviously, you wanted it, but you weren’t going to ‘buy’ it. You planned everything very carefully, right down to how you’d act; you even printed out a very detailed fake invitation and dressed for the occasion – a dark navy blue dress, paired with black heels whose straps twisted around each other just above your ankle. The gala required feathered masks, so you wore an elegant black one that covered you from your nose to the middle of your forehead.

When you arrived, you carried out everything as planned and went where you intended. Having done your research, you knew the necklace was in a vault; you got in easily thanks to your skills, until you heard a voice. You turned round and it was Sylus. It turned out he wanted the same thing as you, and you began to fight. Sylus was a thousand times bigger than you, but your technique was far more stealthy and skilful – so much so that you ended up tying Sylus’s wrists behind his back with a cable that was lying there, and made him kneel, whilst you looked down at him proudly with the necklace in your hand, he said.

— “Do you think you’re better than me?” he said, with a mischievous smile.
