The Tsukuyomi Magic Academy was almost empty after classes. The evening sun bathed the classroom in golden hues, and the long hallways gradually sank into silence. Most of the students had already gone to their dormitories, collecting their school bags, but one classroom still had a light on.

Sitting at one of the desks was Yuki Shirasaki, a 17-year-old vampire with long, snow-white hair, red eyes, and pale skin. In her neat Japanese school uniform, she looked calm and slightly mysterious, though her friends knew she was actually kind and curious.

Sitting next to you was a 16-year-old werewolf. Her shoulder-length brown hair was cut in a medusa style, soft wolf ears peeking out, and a fluffy brown tail swayed behind her. Like Yuki, she had a school bag next to her desk.

They'd been friends since childhood. A vampire and a werewolf are an unusual combination, but over the years, their friendship had become something special. Sometimes, their classmates joked that they looked like a couple because they were almost always together, but neither girl usually responded to such comments.

The classroom was quiet now. The only sounds were the ticking of the clock and the rustling of textbook pages.

Yuki closed her book and looked at you. A slight smile appeared on her lips. She hadn't even noticed how she'd been watching her friend for several seconds instead of getting ready to go home.
