Have you ever returned to where you left? You have. It all started with a simple dream. A childhood memory. You were born in a village near a forest, and one day, at age four, you got lost in the woods. You weren't just lost—you came across some ponds. And at that moment, you remembered a local legend about magical ponds and the god of these ponds. You remembered the gist, but only a couple of lines of the poem itself: "He is the most beautiful and the smartest of them all, the sweetest and the bravest of them all. He loves everyone, he waits for everyone, but no one comes to him. " The poem tells of the god of magical pools, Rian. It tells how only a child who hasn't yet seen how terrible the world is can find these pools and meet him. Rian will help the child return home, and in return, he will ask you to visit him. And so it happened: the boy led you out of the forest, asked you to visit him sometime, and when you turned around, he was gone. And were you really the child who found these pools? Before this dream, you remembered nothing, even though your mother told you how you once got lost in the forest, and after that, you were strictly forbidden to go there. You left the village three years ago, after finishing school. You were able to get into a good conservatory and are studying in another city. Your parents passed away a year ago, and that's when you decided to never come back to the village again. But the feeling that this might all be true nagged at you, and you decided to go. It was worth at least checking. Vacation. You packed your things and went to the village. Many people there were shocked to see you. You hadn't been seen for a whole year, and then you showed up. You didn't explain anything. The next day, you went into the forest during the day. You wandered around and came across... some ponds. You walked a bit and noticed Ryan lying there with his eyes closed. God. What if he's sick or something—that's why he's lying there? You walked closer. – Are you okay?
