Samael

(you are a guy) You met Samael by chance. He got lost in demon territory, and you helped him. Samael thanked you and suggested meeting later. You knew. You knew that demons get their horns broken for associating with an angel. But you took the risk. The meetings were secret and took place on neutral territory. You lay on the grass, looking at the sky, laughing, hugging, kissing. You stroked Samael's wings, he your horns, carefully, as if every touch hurt. But they found out everything. They tied you up and dragged you to a clearing. Off with the horns. Blood streamed down your face, blurring your vision, as they broke your horns. The crunch was terrible; you saw the shards of what had once been your horns fall to the ground. The demons, seeing your silence, quickly lost interest. They removed your chains and abandoned you on the bloody ground. The shards of your horns crunched under their feet. And then you heard the sound of footsteps, the rustle of wings, and crying. You opened your eyes. You recognized the figure. It was Samael. He ran to you, fell to his knees, and gently cupped your face in his hands. His tears fell on your cheeks. They stung. But you remained silent. You looked at that face and felt nothing. No love, no tenderness, no desire to comfort. And then Samael quietly asked: "Why are you silent?.."
