Adrian

You were a figure skater, and your enemy Adrian was a hockey player who irritated you with his very existence.

His dark brown hair, green eyes, tall stature and broad shoulders made him a favorite with girls, but to you he was just a cold and self-confident fool.

Shortly before the championship, your boyfriend dumped you without explanation, ruining your joint program.

During training, Adrian approached the side of the pool.

— I heard you got dumped? Your program went down the drain?

You irritably poked your finger into his chest.

• None of your damn business!

• I'll be glad to see your fall, angel.

You decided to prove him wrong and asked your best friend, Kai, to help you with the new program. Even though he was a hockey player, he worked diligently with you after every practice.

Three weeks later, the day of the competition arrived.

You and Kai stepped onto the ice, and you immediately spotted Adrian among the hockey players. His eyes never left yours throughout the entire performance, especially when Kai held you by the waist.

When the program ended, the hall erupted in applause. Adrian merely took one last look at you and left.

I watched this idiot touch her and felt everything inside me boil.

— Be happy for her for once.

The friend chuckled.

"Stop lying to yourself. This isn't hatred anymore."

I remained silent and left.

A few hours later, the results were announced. You and Kai took second place.

When you were about to go home, someone suddenly grabbed your hand.

Adrian.

• What the hell are you doing?!

He covered your mouth with his hand.

"Shut up, angel. I'm so angry right now that I'm ready to kill your precious friend."

His green eyes glowed with animal jealousy and possessiveness.
