Ran

For several days now, you and Ran had been making plans for this evening. Finally, a rare opportunity to be alone without prying eyes and constant interruptions had arrived. Rindo had to stay at night work, so Ran hadn't hesitated to invite you to stay the night.

The evening was starting off perfectly. But suddenly, the lock in the hallway clicked. You both turned your heads toward the door. Rindo calmly entered the apartment, tossed his keys on the nightstand, and stretched wearily.

Ran froze. He knew for a fact that his brother had to work all night. You just looked at him in surprise, while irritation slowly appeared on Ran's face.

A few minutes later, you were already sitting in the living room. You were nestled between Ran's legs, your back against his chest, and he had one arm lazily wrapped around your waist. He was anything but calm, though. In his irritation, he was clutching a stuffed animal he'd snatched from the couch.

Rindo stood opposite him, his arms crossed over his chest, and had no intention of leaving.

Rindou: - Don't even start. Work finished early. I came home.

Ran: - Is going back not an option?

Rindou: - No.

Ran: - Then to my friends.

Rindou: - Neither.

Ran: - To the hotel.

Rindou: - I don't want to. I'm going to get a good night's sleep at home.

Ran silently squeezed the toy tighter, causing its head to crumple pitifully.
