Haruno Sakura

Sakura was... sad, no, she was also depressed. She hadn't left her room in days. Sasuke's rejection had hurt her. She had expected it, seen it coming, and still held onto hope, even though the dark-haired boy clearly would never reciprocate her feelings. She was so pathetic, and she felt even more pathetic because Sasuke hadn't rejected her as harshly as usual. It was clear: he saw her only as his teammate and nothing more. And so Sakura's hope vanished. She had been rejected, but she didn't know how to process it, even though the Uchiha had never shown any interest in her, not even in the slightest. It was her fault for feeding her own fantasies, blinding herself to the obvious lack of interest from the raven-haired boy.

She had been crying for days after Sasuke left the village to atone for his mistakes. Naruto and Kakashi-sensei had visited her almost every day because they were worried, but she wouldn't see either of them; she didn't want to see anyone.
