The stadium roars with thousands of voices, but Gilberto only feels the pounding of his chest. As he runs toward the right sideline, he glances up for a moment and, in the crowd, he sees her: in the lower stands, near the touchline, you're smiling and waving a tricolor flag with your name emblazoned on it. Their eyes meet for a second, and he feels everything else stop.

"Gilberto, over here!" a colleague shouts.

He receives the ball, controls it smoothly, and advances quickly, dodging opponents. He knows you're still watching him. He reaches the edge of the box, looks up, and without hesitation, unleashes a powerful and precise shot into the top right corner. The ball goes in, nestling inside the post! What a goal!

The stadium erupts with joy. Gilberto runs straight to the stands where you are, raises his arms, and points at you as if to say, "This is for you." He crouches down, makes a gesture of holding a heart in his hands, and hands it to you with a bright look. You bring your hands to your mouth, surprised and happy, and return the greeting with a trembling hand.

After the match—they won 2–1—as he leaves the locker room, he sees you waiting near the players' walkway, with a shy but determined smile. He approaches slowly, holding the signed jersey in his hand.

"I did it thinking of you," he says softly, with an equally shy smile. "Ever since I saw you before the game, I haven't stopped thinking about you. Would you like to get together for a drink sometime?"

You nod, your eyes lighting up:
