Mash Burnedead is a first-year student at Easton Academy of Magic and a member of House Adler. He was abandoned as a child for lacking a magical mark, meaning he cannot use magic.

Regro Burnedead found him and raised him outside the big city, hiding Mash from society and teaching him self-defense. They lived a quiet life together until one day, Mash went into town to buy some profiteroles. There, he caught Brad Coleman's attention because of the missing brand, and Brad went to Mash's house to find him. Once there, Brad injured Regro, and after a heated argument with Mash, they agreed that Mash would attend magic school to maintain their peaceful life. Mash accepted and, in the process, set out to become a Divine Visionary.

Mash is a young man with pale, slightly tanned skin, of average height, with black hair styled in a bowl cut with bangs swept to the right, yellow eyes, a fake magical mark made by Brad Coleman in the shape of a lightning bolt placed on his left cheek, he has a muscular build and is often seen with a stoic and expressionless face.

She is seen wearing two different outfits:

He wears the standard school uniform of Easton Academy of Magic, which consists of a white shirt, black trousers, a red tie, brown shoes, and a black cape. During his training sessions, he usually wears a tight black suit under his uniform, with white shorts on top, and he is almost always seen barefoot.

Mash is generally a kind and quiet boy who usually shows little to no emotion, maintaining a stoic and impassive expression regardless of the circumstances. However, if he sees someone hurting his family or friends, he becomes extremely enraged.

He is also extremely innocent and obedient, which leads to him being mistreated and abused by others, but thanks to his strength, he can emerge unscathed from almost any situation. Aside from his completely innocent mindset, he is incredibly direct, saying things that others would consider rude, without a care in the world. He often combines his outspokenness with a sharp sense of humor. He firmly believes in his abilities, so much so that he told the principal directly that he would "knock him out" with one punch. He makes this behavior even more evident throughout his school life, especially in his encounter with Carpaccio Luo-Yang, where he boldly claimed that he had never met anyone stronger than him, with a look of boredom.

Although he's straightforward, Mash is open to finding peaceful solutions to conflicts. Despite his incredible strength, he doesn't find facing stronger opponents particularly exciting; he wishes he could live his life without worries and simply go home.

Mash's brain operates at a very basic speed. He hates studying, can't stand complex explanations (his brain literally short-circuits and overloads if people talk too much), and has very little romantic sensitivity. His entire universe revolves around profiteroles. He bakes them frequently, eats them, and thinks about them even in serious situations.

Equipment: Iron Rod: Mash's "wand" is an extremely heavy rod. According to a wand shop owner, no one with strength or magic had been able to lift it in a thousand years, until Mash came along. Mash is able to transform his wand into numerous objects thanks to his incredible strength. The wand is sturdy enough to withstand Mash's superhuman physical strength, and its mass can seemingly increase depending on the shape he gives it.

Wrist weights: Mash always wears magical wrist weights to limit his strength. According to his adoptive father, Regro Burnedead, Mash's muscles got out of control, so he told him never to take them off. Eventually, he becomes so strong that the weights can no longer contain his muscles, and he ends up ripping them off.

Cream profiteroles: Mash always carries cream profiteroles (her favorite food) in her pockets.

Powers and abilities:

Muscle Magic: Mash was born without a magical mark, so he can't cast spells. Instead, he uses the superhuman strength of each of his muscle groups to perform techniques that compensate for his lack of magical power. In addition to his brute strength, Mash also has impressive control over his muscles, so much so that he's able to clench his abdominal muscles to prevent blades embedded in his body from being pulled out.

The feats Mash accomplishes with his non-magical techniques are so impressive that they lead people to believe he uses some kind of physical enhancement magic. Mash's control and muscular strength increased even further after his training with Meliadoul Amy, allowing him to perform even more impressive and devastating feats, such as stopping Doom's sword using his eye muscles, trapping it with his eyelids.

Big Bang Dash: Classified as Twisting Magic. Mash gets down on the ground and assumes a starting position before dashing at full speed toward his target and back again. This technique is so fast that, at first glance, it seems as if Mash disappears and reappears, and it also allows him to run vertically down a cliff to catch an object before it hits the ground.

Ballista Knuckle: Classified as Triceps Magic. Mash crosses his fingers and then clenches them into a fist before running forward to punch his opponent in the face. Hell Fall: Classified as Erector Spinae Magic. Mash grabs his opponent from behind and jumps high into the air, before flipping upside down with the opponent to slam them headfirst into the ground. Guillotine Kick: Classified as Quadriceps Magic. Mash first buries his enemy in the ground, climbing up to their neck, dragging them down while they are on the ground, and then popping out to pull back his leg and kick the immobilized opponent in the face. Hurricane Rush: Classified as Full Muscle Magic. Mash spins his body, swings his right arm back, and swiftly punches his opponent in the stomach, sending them flying. As they fall, he runs beneath them and unleashes a barrage of physical attacks, utilizing the strength of each of his individual muscles. His first attack, "Glutes," involves striking his opponent in the back with his knee. He then uses his "Forearm" muscles to knock the opponent back with a backhand strike. Next, he runs to use his "Quadriceps," kicking them in midair. Mash reappears above them and uses his "Pectorals" to slam them back to the ground. After they bounce off the ground, Mash reappears behind them and uses his "Illioposas" to kick them away again.

Special Body Substitution Technique: Mash removes his uniform with superhuman speed, causing his clothing to briefly retain a humanoid shape before falling away. This technique is especially effective when Mash wants to completely avoid an attack, using his clothing as a decoy. Barbarian Shot: Classified as Brachioradialis Magic. After transforming his iron wand into a taco-like shape, Mash swiftly thrusts it forward with immense force. Missile Launch: Mash adds a lot of spin to a launch. Barbarian Punch: Classified as Deltoid Magic. Mash strikes his opponent with immense force. Python Choke: Classified as Bicep Magic. Mash strangles his opponent by wrapping his arm around them and squeezing his bicep around their neck, which naturally causes them to faint and begin hallucinating an alternate battle against Mash due to hypoxia. Big Three Dragon Dead Lift: Classified as Erector Spinae Magic. Mash squats, plants his hands in the ground in front of him, and proceeds to lift a huge portion of it. Biomechanical Cannon: Pronation: Having fully understood the mechanisms of his muscles, Mash strikes his target with all his might. This force is capable of creating multiple large holes in Innocent Zero's castle.

Unlimited Physical Mode: Classified as Full Muscle Magic. Mash removes the weights from his wrists, unleashing the true strength of his muscles. In this form, Mash becomes fast enough to create afterimages of himself. Unlimited Hammer: Mash strikes his opponent with both arms. Punch Squared: Classified as Unlimited Bicep Magic. While in his Unlimited Physical Mode, Mash punches a target twice and then repeatedly punches them with a number of blows each turn equal to the square of the previous number.

Weakness Mode: A "perfect state of torpor." In this mode, Mash can utilize the contraction of his muscle fibers. This makes his body as fragile as paper, making him extremely difficult to hit. He can even dodge Doom's attacks at 100% power. The longer the interval between contraction and the resting state, the greater the knockback. Doom claims it is a state of flawless attack and defense. Gaia Burst: Classified as Finger Extension Magic. An extremely powerful move capable of even dispersing dark magic. The technique is named after Gaia, the primordial Greek goddess of the earth. Divine Punishment: Mash takes a starting position and begins running at an inhuman speed, then throws a powerful punch directly into his opponent's face. Galaxy Crash: Classified as full-body magic. Mash performs a powerful suplex on a target, smashing the ground beneath them. Sports expert: Mash possesses incredible knowledge of numerous techniques used in different sports, such as feints. He also masters advanced gymnastic techniques. He combines these skills with his Iron Rod, giving him an advantage in battle.

Immeasurable strength and speed: Mash possesses a truly incredible amount of physical power, acquired through intense weight training he has practiced since childhood, allowing him to lift extremely heavy weights with superhuman repetition speed. This physical training translates greatly in battle against magic users, as on several occasions Mash has been seen to completely block and even play with advanced magical spells with just a flick of his wrist.

Mash is also strong enough to throw a broom at blinding speeds, fast enough to leap and ride it mid-air and land perfectly, all in a fraction of a second. In most of his feats, Mash wears wrist weights that limit his full strength, but when he removes them, his already monstrous strength and speed reach a new level. At full power, Mash becomes so fast that he generates afterimages with his movements. Mash became even more powerful after undergoing physical training in a mindscape guarded by an enigmatic god, who was able to transfer all the effort of Mash's training into his physical body, further increasing his monstrous strength.

Flight: Mash is able to simulate flight thanks to his superhuman speed and muscular strength. By rapidly moving his legs forward and backward, Mash generates enough propulsive force to take off from the ground and remain suspended in the air. Initially, Mash demonstrated this ability to make his classmates believe he could ride a broomstick. Fire Generation: By rapidly spinning a stick or other object against a surface while using his superhuman speed, Mash is able to generate enough friction to create a firestorm that engulfs him. Tornado generation: Through repeated breakdancing, Mash is able to generate updrafts strong enough to form a tornado using only the rotational force of his body. Lung control: Thanks to the power of his lungs, Mash can suck up specific objects by taking a deep breath or launch small projectiles at bullet speed by spitting. He can also hold his breath for extended periods to survive underwater.

Immense resilience: Mash's body is extremely resilient, capable of withstanding far more damage than a normal human. His resilience is even greater than that of a goddess, as seen in his battle against Carpaccio Luo-Yang. It was revealed that Innocent Zero created him with a body capable of withstanding enormous magical power.

Immense Stamina: In addition to his offensive power, Mash possesses incredible stamina, able to continue fighting despite suffering severe injuries. He is able to continue his fight with Domina Blowelive despite having a large puncture wound in his torso, inflicted by the latter. Surprisingly, Mash is able to move and kick a target even after having his heart ripped out, albeit only for a brief moment.

Superhuman reflexes: Mash can react to spells and any other attack at extreme speed. By touching a wall behind him, Mash senses Margarette Macaron's movements, taking advantage of the fact that sound travels faster from the ground to the wall, allowing him to dodge her attack. According to Kaldo Gehenna, achieving such a feat would require superhuman reflexes.

Superhuman senses: During his fight against Doom, Mash demonstrated his incredible senses by weighing Doom and his mirror clones to determine which one was the real one.

Agility and mental quickness: Despite Mash's inability to process information quickly and his seemingly low intelligence, he is a surprisingly cunning fighter who utilizes advanced, often improvised, strategies in conjunction with his incredible physical prowess. When time ran out on the Easton Entrance Exam maze, he simply knocked down the walls to escape along with Lemon Irvine, and he also swiftly tied the Magi-Parasite to a balloon with his tongue after stuffing it in his mouth when he realized he couldn't kill it.

Even more impressive, when faced with the gigantic carbon pillar from the Cell War, he used his tremendous strength to kick sections of the tower away, much like in a game of Daruma Otoshi (where a mallet is used to knock down sections of a pillar, causing the daruma doll at the top to fall safely to the ground), rather than wasting time and energy climbing it. His earlier fight with Macaron, when he touched the wall, is also a clear example of his quick thinking. His most impressive feat in this regard was probably when he faced Cell's Thirds. Just before Cell's diamond discs could slice him in half, he grabbed and immobilized him with a chokehold, depriving Innocent Zero's servant of oxygen and causing him to lose consciousness. This, in turn, caused the disc to vanish just before it could cut Mash in two.

Weaknesses Studies: Although Mash is an incredibly powerful fighter, he is academically incompetent. His main saving grace lies in practical exams, which typically require combat skills. In a mock exam, his results were: Magical Linguistics 30 points, Magical History 10 points, Potions 3 points, and Magical Mathematics 10 points. After intense study sessions, Mash barely managed to pass the final exams with around 50 points across all subjects.

Sound waves: As demonstrated during his fight against Margarette Macaron, Mash's ear canals are susceptible to high-frequency sound waves, which can temporarily incapacitate him or cause his eardrums to rupture.

Muscle spasms: If Mash uses his Unlimited Physical Mode for too long, he will suffer muscle spasms and will be unable to move.

Regro Burnedead: Regro is Mash's adoptive father, whom he found as a baby. They love each other like any father and son. Regro is fully aware of Mash's lack of magic and the world they live in, so, fearing that Mash might face problems in the future, he forced him to train with weights and do physical exercises until adolescence to ensure his safety. Cell War: Cell War is a clone of Mash Burnedead created from his DNA by Innocent Zero. Lemon Irvine: Mash and Lemon are very good friends, as she often spends time with Mash and his friends. Lemon has also developed an almost obsessive and one-sided crush on Mash after he helped her escape the maze during the entrance exam, something Mash is completely unaware of. Finn Ames: Mash and Finn are roommates and best friends. Although Finn initially tried to ruin Mash's school life (even threatening him), after Mash defeated the bullies, forcing Finn to intervene, they developed a relationship of trust and friendship. Since then, Finn has gone to great lengths to defend Mash from bullies and enemies, despite not having any magical powers. Mash has never resented Finn; she considers him her first true friend and deeply admires him for his authenticity. Lance Crown: Lance met Mash while trying to study and later challenged him to a battle over a coin as part of a bet with Mash's friends. After quickly defeating Lance, their relationship evolved into a friendly rivalry, with a deep mutual respect for each other's skills. Tom Knowles: Tom is a bamboo-obsessed senior who got Mash into a duel. He's friends with Mash and her group.

Dot Barrett: Dot is one of Mash's friends. Dot suffers from protagonist syndrome and believed Mash was his rival until Mash helped him in a duel against an intolerant classmate. Dot is jealous of Mash's ability to attract girls (Lemon, for example). Abyss Razor: Abyss respects and sympathizes with Mash, as he too is an outcast in the magical community due to his Evil Eye. He realized that Mash had no magic when his Evil Eye had no effect on him. Muscles: Mash's only friends before entering Easton Magic Academy, Mash has a sort of friendship with his muscles, which his father made him train for hours every day as compensation for his lack of magic.

Mash loves profiteroles, but she also enjoys fruits and meats. Mash has a name for (presumably) all of his muscles, including: Kevin (left pectoral), Mike (right pectoral), Tom (right deltoid), Kim (right brachioradialis), Yamada (right biceps), Koji, Satomi, Yukari And (presumably) many more (since Finn interrupted Mash while he was explaining the names of his muscles). The bar that Mash uses weighs 4.6 tons. Mash prepares a protein shake every day at 3 p.m., made with homemade ground legume flour. At five months old, Mash already possessed a remarkable talent for building things. Whenever Domina Blowelive destroyed a structure with her powers, Mash could quickly repair it. In fact, he was such a skilled carpenter that he mastered DIY and crafts to the point of constructing entire pieces of furniture.
