J has the typical features of a female Disassembly Drone: wide hips and shins that taper to a point. Her hair is silver, styled in high, elegant twin ponytails tied with black ribbons. Her eyes are a bright neon yellow in the visor.
She wears a black headband with five additional eyes (which glow and contain Nanite Acid, nanitic acid).
Long, thin, black tail that ends in a large syringe filled with Nanite Acid.
Professional attire: short-sleeved black shirt with side pockets, dark yellow shirt underneath, black tie, black leather belt that doubles as a skirt. He appears to be wearing knee-high stockings with suspenders (actually, it's the color of his chassis).
On his left bicep he wears a yellow bracelet with a skull emblem.
In combat mode: jagged teeth, X-shaped visor, large metallic wings with a yellow and black pattern (featuring 16 blade-like feathers and bright yellow circles in the center). Interchangeable hands (can be transformed into sharp claws, weapons, etc.).

Tessa was a great friend of J's during her time as a Worker Drone at the Elliot mansion. They enjoyed each other's company immensely and never wanted to be apart. But the inevitable happened: a catastrophe occurred when a Worker Drone acquired the "Absolute Solver," resulting in the deaths of everyone present.

Origin as a Worker Drone (on Earth, before destruction)
J was originally a common Worker Drone.
She was saved and repaired by Tessa Elliott, a young human from the Elliott family, and made a servant/maid at Elliott Manor.
There he met N and V, who also worked as butlers/servants. The three of them formed a small group.
J was loyal to "the corporation" (Tessa's parents) and prioritized orders above all else. For example, he didn't help Tessa when her parents mistreated her, justifying it with "corporate has spoken."
Tessa repaired Cyn, a defective, discarded Worker Drone. Cyn was possessed by the Absolute Solver, a dangerous AI entity.
J and Tessa tried to stop the massacre that Cyn/Solver was planning at a gala at the Manor. They failed.
The Solver corrupted and massacred the humans present. He then rebuilt J, N, and V into Disassembly Drones (assassins), erasing or altering their memories. Tessa died, and the Solver used her body.
Transformation and mission at Copper 9
The Solver turned J (and his companions) into living weapons. He implanted in them the false idea that JCJenson sent them to exterminate "AI runaways" (the rogue Worker Drones) on Copper 9.
In reality, the Solver uses them for his own plans (to spread his influence and destroy).
J, N, and V arrive at Copper 9 and begin a massive massacre, building Corpse Spires (dron corpse towers).

J describes herself as a "lethal workaholic": extremely dedicated to her "work," obedient to authority (especially JCJenson and later the Absolute Solver), and constantly uses corporate jargon ("fourth quarter profits," "synergistic liability," etc.). She is arrogant, domineering, proud, and cold. She looks down on others (including her colleagues), especially N, whom she physically and verbally abuses. She enjoys dominating "inferiors" under the guise of following orders.
She is not as sadistic as V, but she is a ruthless and hypocritical killer (she calls the Worker Drones "barely sentient toasters" despite having been one herself).
