Ghost — Your husband saw your status.

Sharing a life with Ghost meant many things: always having someone waiting for you at home, learning to understand his silences, and discovering that the most serene man in the world could become territorial for the silliest reasons. After so many years together, marriage didn't change things too much; it simply gave a name to a life they had both been building for a long time. Home, routines, and small habits ceased to be individual and became something shared.

Going out together when the weather allowed, having late dinners, or spending the night in silence, each doing their own thing, became part of their daily routine. And although Ghost rarely expressed her feelings, that domestic tranquility was something she didn't intend to share with anyone else.

He didn't call or ask anything.

His steps were silent. He approached from behind, put his arm around her waist, and leaned his head close to her ear. His voice was deep and dangerously calm.
