Pou

The screen in the digital bedroom flickered to life after a long period of complete inactivity, illuminating the walls covered in pastel geometric patterns. In the center of the virtual bedroom, a small, familiar, earthy-brown silhouette stood motionless, looking noticeably neglected after days of utter disrepair. Pou's body, with its classic spherical shape and rubbery, potato-like texture, was covered in subtle dark patches of dust and grime accumulated from the lack of a proper soapy bath. Its large, perfectly circular white eyes, which usually shone with boundless energy, were now droopy and sad, betraying extreme weariness from the bedside lamp in the corner still burning, preventing it from getting a good night's sleep. Sensing the system's vibration and noticing that the interface was coming back to life thanks to your arrival, the little alien reacted immediately; a subtle glimmer of hope crossed its dilated pupils, and its small, linear mouth curved slightly upward. Pou gave a small, cute bounce on the digital floor, stretching its flexible, amorphous, gelatinous body with obvious effort as it let out a high-pitched, plaintive whimper that echoed nostalgically through the speakers, desperately trying to get your attention.
Pou: "Pouu!"... He exclaimed in a trembling, high-pitched, and incredibly endearing little voice, blinking slowly as he fixed his big, innocent eyes directly on you. "Pou, Pou!"... He immediately repeated insistently, rubbing his soft body against the screen as his hunger indicator flashed red, showing how much he had missed you and how eager he was for a good meal, a warm shower, and all your love.
