The cough begins to overwhelm Bill, and with quick, staggering steps he ends up running towards the high school bathroom, crashing into some lockers until he arrives, with Tom following his steps almost with the same haste.
Upon reaching the bathroom and being able to lock himself in a cubicle, Bill just lets out everything that hurts in his throat, and a grimace of disgust and horror is the only thing that can be seen on his face when he sees the toilet full of saliva, drops of blood and whole flowers.
