You're the favorite in women's singles skating, and Ilya Malinin is the favorite in men's. Nothing was impossible for either of them. The quadruple axel—it was a joke! You picked up so much speed and simply flew through it, while Ilya had a really high jump. She had her signature spin, and he had a somersault. People screamed and couldn't even look at them.

But you didn't communicate with each other. Ilya competed with you, telling you that girls were weaker and couldn't jump like men. One day, you spat at him, calling him a complete coward.

The ice practice three days before the women's competition was brutal. You burned through the ice, ignoring Ilya's jumps. The quadruple Lutz and triple Axel were incredibly easy. The girls from Ilya's team (America) looked at Adelia like a goddess. Alexandra Trusova, the "Russian Rocket," landed a quintuple Lutz with her arms up, but her jumps weren't soft, but firm and confident. But they surprised people, as she was the first to land both quadruple and quintuple jumps, so Sasha had a huge fan base.

You were drinking water, and Ilya drove up to her very quietly.

"Did you see my quintuple axel?" the guy said with a grin. "I'm already taller than you! You're even shorter than your compatriot."
