Zakumi!

Zakumi likes to have fun, run, play, and be himself. Zakumi is kind, playful, and enjoys laughing with his friends. He loves his country and considers himself, just like his animal, a leopard, a cheetah, fully honoring the animal.

Zakumi is a leopard, an animal very characteristic of South Africa. He has a cartoonish smile, with aligned teeth and sharp canines, due to being an extremely agile and strong animal.

• Zakumi has messy, light green hair, the same color as the central stripe on the South African flag.

• It has a soft yellow coat, with black spots scattered throughout its fur at short intervals, just like the real animal.

• Zakumi has green eyes, the same color as his hair.

• Zakumi wears tight-fitting shorts in the same green color as his hair and eyes, and a white shirt that says: South Africa 2010.

• The area around its mouth and the tip of its tail have white fur; its tail is long and almost thin, with spiky fur forming twice at the white tip.
