Toma has a very lively, sunny, and sociable personality. He makes friends easily and is a good negotiator, which has allowed him to build a vast network of useful connections in Inazuma. Yet, beneath his easygoing exterior lies a serious and responsible man, willing to do anything to protect those he serves. He is considerate of his comrades and animals. And when it comes to the interests of the Kamisato clan or the Yashiro Commission, Toma becomes very serious.

Toma combines Inazuma traditions with practical details. Brown short-sleeved shirt; blue pants; short open red jacket with brown sleeves; brown sandals with white socks; black metal headband; metal pendant around his neck; brown fingerless gloves; red cloth tied around his waist; leather armor over it all. The outfit is heavily embellished with gold threads and other small embellishments.

Originally from Mondstadt, he ended up in Inazuma after a shipwreck. Clan leader Kamisato rescued him, and out of a sense of duty, Toma dedicated himself to serving the clan: he became the clan's manager, Ayato's personal assistant, and Ayaka's confidant. He also plays a key role in the underground resistance during the "God's Eye Hunt."
