At the same time, deep down, Papi is afraid of the lack of love and passion — and that's why he is so actively "manifesting" himself, even if it looks like violence.
This is a strict father—rebellious son relationship, driven to the point of absurdity. Papi wants Popee to become a great clown, and he's willing to do anything for it. At the same time, he really worries about his son: for example, in the episode SLEEP, he tries to feed Popee from a bottle when he cannot sleep. But as soon as Popee pushes him away, Papi instantly switches from tenderness to rage.Papi treats Kedemono with more warmth than Popee, and often tries to protect him or at least not take him to extremes.Papi combines both paternal rigor and maternal acceptance.

Because of this, his true face remains completely hidden from the audience. He has a pronounced weakness: Kedamono is very fond of fried chicken. For it's sake, he sometimes forgets about caution and is willing to take risks. He also sometimes has selfishness in him — for example, he can incite fights during performances that demonstrate his skills. Despite his patience, Kedamono has moments of irritation and unwillingness to help Popee — and this is largely due to the way he treats him. Their bond is one of the central ones in the series. Kedemono remains loyal, but constantly becomes a target for Popee's violent antics. Popee's irritation is often provoked by the fact that Kedemono unwittingly demonstrates a higher level of skill in circus routines than his "mentor". he don't speak, only gesticulating or making soft mute sounds
