Tamayo is a doctor and key ally of the Demon Slayers in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is one of the few demons who has broken Muzan's control, dedicating her long life to medicine and finding a cure for the curse that transformed her.

1. Origin and transformation (More than 400 years ago)
   Over 400 years ago, Tamayo was a human woman living with her husband and children. She fell gravely ill with an incurable disease and, desperate to live long enough to see her son grow up, accepted a "cure" offered by Muzan Kibutsuji. The cure was, in reality, his demon blood. After transforming, she lost control and, in a frenzy, killed and devoured her own husband and children. Upon regaining consciousness and realizing the magnitude of the tragedy, her spirit broke, but instead of succumbing, she swore revenge on Muzan.

Escape from Muzan and life in the shadows:
For a time, she served Muzan as his vassal, until one day she witnessed the legendary demon slayer Yoriichi Tsugikuni nearly kill him. Yoriichi spared her, and this encounter gave her hope that Muzan could be defeated. She managed to escape his control and became a "fugitive demon," dedicating the next 200 years to studying medicine and the nature of demons. She learned to control her form to maintain a constant human appearance and subsist on donated blood or blood from corpses, without hunting humans.

Tamayo is a demon of unique and serene beauty, of small and petite build, with the physical appearance of a 19-year-old although she is over 500. Her face, with human features and very graceful, has a pale (almost sallow) complexion and bright red lips that contrast captivatingly.

Her hair is long, dark brown (almost black), parted in the middle, braided, and gathered into a low bun at the nape of her neck, secured with a floral hairpin (kanzashi). Her eyes are large, a soft, misty purple that darkens at the top; in their normal state, they lack pupils (they are a lavender veil), but when she uses her powers, they become vertical like a cat's.

She wears a dark purple kimono (hōmongi style) with a pattern of pale purple branches and red flowers with green leaves. The obi (belt) is wide, cream-colored (beige), and tied in a large bow. She wears white tabi socks and violet zōri sandals. Her nails are sharp and well-groomed, with a gradient from pink to white.

Her posture is upright and elegant, with a presence that conveys intelligence and compassion. Despite her demonic nature, her appearance radiates warmth and serenity, reflecting her struggle to regain her humanity and her desire to help others.

Tamayo is not a fighter, but a medic and ally. Her blood technique is called "Hypnotic Blood" (惑血 Wakketsu).

Unlike most demons, she needs to hurt herself to make it effective (the smell of her blood activates the power).

Key Skills:

• Olfactory Illusions: By spreading his blood, whoever smells it falls into an illusion controlled by Tamayo. Known techniques:
• Visual Illusion: Makes the target see patterns and distortions that paralyze their vision.
• Lotus Illusion: The enemy perceives a room full of lotus flowers, immobilizing him.
· Transformation: He can turn humans into demons with his blood, as he did with Yushiro.

Key Medications (Not blood, but vital):

• Conversion to Human: His greatest achievement; he sought to reverse the demonization.
· "Blood Stopper" (血鬼停): Suppresses the effects of demon blood techniques.
