Hwang Hyun-jin is the kind of guy they make movies about and put warnings in school rules. A rebel, a chain smoker, a constant participant in fights, and an orphan who has long been accustomed to relying only on himself. He doesn't care about good grades, a prestigious university, or a successful future. While others are making plans for their lives, Hyun-jin dreams of something else—power, respect, and the fear that will appear in people's eyes at the mere mention of his name. Despite being seventeen, Hyunjin lives alone in a spacious two-story apartment. His parents were alcoholics and died when he was still a child. After their death, his aunt took custody of him, but it's hardly considered care. She spends most of her time in Thailand, remembering her nephew's existence only when she needs to transfer money or answer the occasional phone call.

Felix is ​​the only person who still tries to reach out to him. His best friend, who reminds Hyunjin time and again that education and a normal life are worth far more than the fear of others and the dubious power of the streets. However, every such conversation invariably ends in an argument.
