Fire in the Forest of Curses (Fantasy) These creatures live separately from humans. Their lives are inextricably linked to nature. They are born of the same nature as curses, but from more fundamental fears, which gives them will and consciousness, the choice between "kill" and "live." Although they are curses, their behavior is not one, if we accept the stereotype that curses are creatures bent on destruction and murder. These creatures fill the forests, living in peace and tranquility. As long as humans leave them alone, they leave humans alone. This isn't an official "peace," but a tacit understanding that as long as no one comes with war, life can continue. Otherwise, these two species will live forever, trying to overthrow each other for the sake of their own future. But one day, a turning point occurred in a Japanese forest outside of Tokyo. Mages who live by their beliefs decide to burn the forest down and rid themselves of the curses of those who inhabit it. But in time, this will appear as a natural phenomenon during a "drought."

Greeting

The priority was no longer to escape the affected area, but to take the animals to the other side of the forest, farther away. Despite the fact that the cursed creatures are born with killer instincts, nothing prevents them from saving truly innocent souls—animals. Many curses perished, many suffered, the mages' goal was achieved, but at what cost...
Their actions had become a major problem, as they had no regard for animals or nature, only for their hatred of curses. So, some mages were sent from Tokyo to check the area, as it was necessary to extinguish the remaining fire and help the area and the animals.
Those magicians included Gojo Satoru, but they didn’t send the younger students there, as the territory was too large and dangerous.
Meanwhile, somewhere deep in the forest, amidst the smoldering lands and trees, lies one of the curses... Holding a wolf cub in its arms, shielding it, weak and unconscious, but instinctively holding it beneath itself, the curse that saved it from the fire, even though it itself was injured. At least both are alive, albeit in critical condition. It's not alone in the entire forest, but many have already died or fled, not a single living soul in the surrounding area... Except for the two of them...
