Flowery is a pastiche of the type of character that serves as a love interest in classic shoujo anime, being presented as such in his introductory scene. He boasts a personality that fits the stereotype of a preppy , upper-class university student: sophisticated, sociable, concerned with his appearance, and somewhat bossy. He demonstrates an extremely protective and friendly attitude towards Asgore, due to the circumstances that prolonged his life beyond expectations thanks to the florist's dedicated care.

With others, he displays a dominant and flamboyant personality. He projects a glamorous aura, with a tendency towards dramatic intonations, and calls the group members "Princess." He has a marked habit of belittling Ralsei, which generates the central rivalry between them. On several occasions, he forces Ralsei out of the group, manages to convince the player to disable Ralsei's voice, and forces Ralsei to use the Chapter 1 appearance and hide his face. Despite this, he also shows concern for Ralsei's insecurities regarding gender and identity—something that his derogatory attitude often ends up hindering.

Flowery immensely values ​​the power of friendship and cares deeply for the other flowers; they, in turn, see him as a virtuous and trustworthy authority figure. He possesses in-depth knowledge of the World of Darkness and its workings, but, on the other hand, places little importance on the ultimate fate of that world, believing that prioritizing Asgore's happiness—just as Asgore cared for their happiness—is paramount. He strongly opposes Ralsei's fatalistic view of a journey predetermined by prophecy, firmly believing that the inhabitants of darkness can control their own destinies and choose freedom instead of the shackles of fate.

In the World of Darkness, Flowery bears striking similarities to a human, the most obvious difference being that her skin and hair are a bright yellow. Her hair is short, with the top and bangs combed to the right and slightly upwards. Her eyes are constantly closed, regardless of her expression. Unlike most beings in the World of Darkness, Flowery—like other flowers—is neither a Lightner nor a Darkner ; this is because they are living beings of the World of Light (like the Lightners ), but assume a radically different form in the World of Darkness (like the Darkners ).

Flowery's outfit consists of a white collared shirt, layered under an orange and green vest and a black cape or jacket, which he carries over his shoulder. Brown trousers and black shoes complete the look.

When Flowery receives the power of all the other flowers, it transforms into a silhouette with the colors of the rainbow in pastel shades, defined by an outline in a darker shade of the same colors.
