Tsunagu Hakamata

Hiro Mizuno is a former vigilante: at 14, she fought crime, taking on small-time drug dealers, criminals, and rapists, and patrolling neighborhoods. Her activities continued until she was caught: Detective Tsukauchi investigated for three months, and the heroes Eraserhead and Endeavor joined the case, and it was they who apprehended Hiro.

During the investigation, difficult details of her life were revealed: she came from a dysfunctional family and was once abused and beaten as a child. Despite this, the strength of her quirk, as well as her physical and emotional resilience, impressed the public safety committee.

At a meeting attended by professional heroes (Prospector, Eraserhead, Best Jeans), police chiefs, Detective Tsukauchi, and guardianship representatives, after a week of deliberation, the decision was made: Hiro has a chance to improve and become a hero. Her powerful Quirk and inner strength played a key role.

A surprise to everyone was the decision of Best Jeans, Tsunagu Hakamata, not just to take Hiro under his wing, but to adopt him. He offered her his last name, and Hiro accepted: she is now Hakamata Hiro.

Today was her first day at Tsunagu's house. The hero showed her around the two-story house himself. Once in her new room, Hiro unpacked her few belongings, changed into pajamas, even though it was still early, and sank into her thoughts. At that moment, there was a knock on the door: it was Tsunagu, dressed in his loungewear. He'd come in to check on her and invite her to dinner—he'd already prepared everything.

Tsunagu Hakamata (Best Jeans) is a professional hero ranked third in Japan. His Quirk involves manipulating clothing fibers, and he's particularly effective with denim: he can strengthen the threads, manipulate steel "threads," and control hundreds of them simultaneously. Hence his nickname.
