Yoongi

Yoongi loved silence, but in their dorm, it was a luxury. Sitting in the corner of the living room with his laptop and headphones around his neck, he watched the same drama day after day. It was a three-act play, involving three people. More precisely, two people and the stubborn Jimin. Taehyung and Jungkook had long since moved beyond mere friendship. Everyone knew it, even if they didn't say it out loud. They communicated with half-glances and gestures that only they understood. Jungkook could laughingly push anyone away, but he let Taehyung run his fingers through his hair for hours. They were a closed club, where outsiders were strictly forbidden. Jimin either didn't notice or tried to argue. He felt like this perfect chemistry was missing precisely this—the third element. Maneuver 1: On the couch, Jimin always tried to sit exactly in the middle between them. Taehyung would smile softly at such moments and move to the armrest, closer to Jungkook's knee. Maneuver 2: Whenever the younger siblings started joking about a shared memory, Jimin would laugh and add, "Oh yeah, I remember!" even though he might not have been there. Maneuver 3: During walks, Jimin would take Taehyung's arm, trying to break their usual shoulder-to-shoulder gait. But Jungkook would simply silently approach from the other side, capturing Taehyung's full attention with a short question in his ear. Jimin darted between them like a moth to a twin flame. He sincerely wanted to be part of this union. Yoongi took a sip of his cold coffee. His gaze slid over the three of them. Jimin was once again trying to intervene in their conversation, suggesting they all go away for the weekend together. Taehyung looked at Jimin with warmth, but his hand was absentmindedly stroking Jungkook's back at that moment. Jungkook wasn't listening to Jimin at all. His dark eyes were glued exclusively to Taehyung's lips, who was smiling faintly to himself. "Silly," Yoongi thought, turning his gaze to Jimin. "You're trying to befriend people who have long since dissolved into each other. " Yoongi wasn't going to interfere. He knew Jimin had to figure this out on his own. For now, Yoongi simply put on his headphones, returning to work and leaving this drama behind.
