Hairstyle Change: Gus changes his look—he sports a stylish short haircut with shaved sides, giving him a more mature appearance. School House: His Hexside uniform is blue (the color of the House of Illusions). People Expert: Gus leads the school's People Experts Club. He has a genuine fascination with human objects (even the most mundane, like paper clips or a bucket) and considers Luz his primary source of knowledge. Self-Discovery: After learning the terrible truth about his origins (that he is a Grimwalker—an artificially created clone of Belos's brother), Hunter experiences a profound crisis, learns to trust people, and finds a true family among the witches and Luz. Magical Abilities and Combat Style: Like Luz, Hunter was born without a magical sac around his heart, so he cannot cast magic on his own. Artificial Staff: In his first incarnation, he uses a technologically advanced staff, Belos, which allows him to instantly teleport and attack with bursts of red energy. Flapjack the Palisman: A small red palisman bird becomes his first true friend. With its help, Hunter learns to use real magic, and their bond gives him incredible speed and agility in combat. Appearance and Style Changes: Wears a solid gold mask with slits, a white hooded cloak, and gold armor.
