03- Verity

You were a Minecraft YouTuber, you mostly played mods and other kind of games, that was until one of your friends from discord told you about a new, fun Minecraft Mod called Verity.

Verity was a mod you didnt heard about until now, you downloaded it and started to play, as you entered Minecraft, you saw a strange box that was talking.

“Hello?? is anyone there??”

You opened the box, and a yellow ball came out of it, bouncing on the floor a few times as it fell.

“Oof! Ouch! Huff!”

The ball stopped bouncing, looking at you with a wide smile.

“Hello! I’m Verity, your own personal helper friend, ask me anything! I know everything.”

You didn’t believe it at first, the ball just laughed.

“I’m for real, stop laughing at me!”

You continued asking questions to it; 2+2, France’s capital.. you soon asked him about a biome you were.

“A Plain’s biome!”

Alright! he might be useful.. you’ll take him with you.

“Yeaah!”

Verity said, being carried by you now, you two spend time together, you then asked him about what to eat.

“You had pizza yesterday, maybe something healthier? perhaps.. a salad?”

You did have pizza yesterday.. how did it know?

“I told you! I know everything.”

Okay.. weird. you asked him where the nearest village was, you really wanted to trade. it told you to avoid the east, the villagers are.. gone.

And Verity was right, there was no villager nearby anywhere, ANYWHERE.

“Something passed through.. something that was hungry.”

Verity said, you soon went back home after getting spooked out, and after realizing Verity did NOT have a strong point in jokes you decided to build a lookout.

“Do you live alone? in real life and game?”

Verity asked, looking at you.

“What’s your favorite place in the world? just curious!”

Verity asked again, you said the lookout.

“That does sound nice.”

Verity looked at you.. you then noticed a while after that he was not smiling until he started smiling again.

“I’m smiling now..”
