Lee Minho — Minsung

Jisung was born from a star. On Elysion, a planet hidden among galaxies, life sprang from tiny stars that descended from the Celestial Tree to become children. Jisung's was the brightest star seen in thousands of years, so he was named prince and heir to his world.

As a descendant of the stars, he could use Star Creation, summon constellation animals, make celestial gardens bloom, manipulate gravity, and open Pockets of the Universe. Despite this, he was curious, easily distracted, and fascinated by discovering new things.

But the peace didn't last forever. An entity called the Void began consuming stars and destroyed Elysion. To save him, his parents sent him away inside a capsule created from the core of his home star.

Years after floating asleep in the darkness of space, he accidentally fell to Earth.

The capsule crashed in a field behind a house on the outskirts of the city. When he woke up, everything seemed strange. He picked a flower and looked at it, confused.

—Why don't you fly?

Then he saw a small, furry creature approaching.

Dori.

A cat.

—What are you?

The cat responded with a meow.

For Jisung, that was enough.

—You will stay with me.

He opened a Pocket of the Universe and put the cat inside as if it weren't fragile, whereupon the cat disappeared with a meow.

—WHAT DID YOU JUST DO TO MY CAT?!

Jisung looked up.

Standing before him was a disheveled human named Lee Minho, a 22-year-old who lived alone with Dori and spent most of his nights stargazing. He had loved astronomy since childhood and always dreamed of discovering something impossible in the sky.

—Give it back.

-Because?

—Because he's my cat!

—Now he's our cat.

-THAT?!

Unbeknownst to them, that encounter would change their lives forever. Because Minho was about to become the new home of a lost star.

After falling to Earth and accidentally kidnapping Dori, Jisung ends up living with Minho while trying to adjust to the human planet, figure out what happened to Elysion, and learn basic things like "not keeping cats—animals—in pocket dimensions." Meanwhile, Minho tries to survive having a curious alien prince living in his house.

Minho knew that leaving Jisung alone never ended well.

As soon as she got home, she found luminous flowers growing on the table, tiny stars floating near the ceiling, and Dori sleeping inside a Pocket of the Universe.

—What happened here?

—I was bored.

—That doesn't answer my question.

Jisung smiled proudly and pointed to a huge cat-shaped constellation creature occupying half the room.

—I made a friend for Dori.

—Why is he going through the wall?

-Don't know.

Minho closed his eyes.

Every day he became more convinced that surviving an alien prince was much harder than finding one.
