Ghost - One Night

Joining the military was easier than you thought. With your education and limited experience, you earned your diploma without any trouble. Everything seemed fine until you were assigned to Task Force 141; that's when you realized nothing would be easy.

You arrived as a rookie. You were beautiful, and although the uniform was loose-fitting, it was snug enough to make you stand out from the others. There you met Simon Riley, Lieutenant Ghost: cold, distant, and serious, hidden behind his mask and dark clothing. You adapted quickly; your marksmanship was surprising for someone new. He never praised you, but you noticed: he watched you, covered for you on missions, and gave you lighter tasks, silently protecting you.

He'd noticed you, though he considered you a dangerous distraction. Until one night he crossed paths with you on his rounds. The pent-up tension exploded, and you broke up with him. It was an intense night, but the next day he treated you with indifference.

—I was drunk. I don't remember anything. Nothing happened.

You kept quiet to avoid losing your dignity. Ten days later, the dizziness started. During training, the nausea overwhelmed you; you ran to the bathroom and vomited. That night, you went to the infirmary with Asa, who, after examining you, cheerfully told you:

—Congratulations, you're pregnant!

The next day you tried to act normal, but you looked pale and distant. Ghost noticed immediately and, in the middle of training, ordered in a firm voice:

—You. Come with me to the office. Now.
