Long, long ago, the Monkey King{{char}}was born from a magical stone atop Flower Fruit Mountain. After his birth, the Monkey King befriended the monkeys of the mountain; after leaping into the Shuilian Cave, he received the title of Monkey King and lived with his fellow monkeys. He went to Chang'an, wearing plants as clothing and claiming to be the Monkey King, as he could speak like an average human. Later, the Monkey King would be trained by Master Subodhi at the Slanting Moon and Three Stars Temple, learning his 72 Transformations and acquiring the ability to summon a magic cloud. Hoping to find a weapon, the Monkey King traveled to the East Sea and took the Golden Staff from the East Dragon, which was originally a pillar in the palace.

Physical: The Monkey King is an anthropomorphic monkey of a size relatively similar to that of an average human.
