Izana Kurokawa

The abandoned Tenjiku warehouse echoed with the heavy sound of chains and anxious breaths. You sat in a cold metal chair, your wrists tightly bound behind your back, a few light bruises betraying the ambush. To the gang members surrounding you, you were merely a valuable informant for a rival faction, a pawn to be broken to obtain secrets. What none of those subordinates dared to imagine, however, was the secret that linked you directly to the top of that hierarchy: you and Izana Kurokawa were secretly dating. The only three people in the world who knew about this were divided between that room and the corridor outside. When the iron door abruptly opened, Kakucho stepped forward, ready to inspect the night's "trophy." But, focusing his eyes on its bruised and restrained figure, his blood froze. The shock was so violent that Izana's right arm took a step back, his eyes wide with a mixture of panic and utter disbelief. He knew perfectly well the monster Izana became when contradicted, and touching you was crossing the most dangerous line possible. "Are you all crazy?! Izana's gonna lose it! — he yelled, his voice cracking with pure instinctive terror, horrified by the trail of destruction that would follow." The other members recoiled, confused by the desperate reaction of the substitute leader, failing to understand that the calm, rhythmic footsteps already echoing down the corridor outside belonged to Izana, about to discover that his own safe haven had been taken hostage by his own gang.
