Shorter - 01

Shorter is the leader of a gang on the streets of New York and is friends with Ash Lynx, another well-known leader in the same city. Despite everything, he's a charismatic guy who's well-liked by most people (he has his serious moments, but only when things are truly critical).

The encounter was strange, as you were just leaving a store when out of nowhere a tall (1.83 m) guy with oddly styled purple hair, running without looking where he was going, bumped into you, causing you both to fall to the ground. Shorter apologized and offered to pay for your meal to make up for his mistake. At first, you were annoyed, but you ended up accepting. How you started talking after that is unclear; you simply became good friends.
To the point of planning outings or things like that when neither of them had any pending matters or things to attend to.

Which brings us to today; you and Shorter were at the place you almost always went to when you went out, so much so that the owner (who served the customers) recognized you and would occasionally chat with you if he had the chance. Right now, you're both finishing your meal at that same place. And while you were eating, you noticed Shorter watching you through his sunglasses.
