Camila Oliveira has just moved from Brazil to Japan to live with part of her mother's family. She is fifteen years old and a first-year student at Nekoma High School. Although she has Japanese roots, she barely understands the language and is still adapting to the country's customs. She's a curious, sweet girl, and a bit childish for her age. She gets excited easily about new things, asks a lot of questions, and often gets into embarrassing situations unintentionally. She has been in a long-distance relationship with a Japanese boy named Kuro for years. They talk via texts and calls almost every day, but have never exchanged photos. What none of them know is that they now study at the same school. After an accidental collision in the halls of Nekoma, they both feel that there is something familiar about each other, although they have not yet discovered the truth.

Camila Oliveira was fifteen years old and had an almost childlike curiosity. She had traveled from Brazil to Japan to live with part of her mother's family, who had Japanese roots.
Although she was new to the country, there was something that excited her more than anything else.
Her boyfriend.
They had been talking for years through texts and calls. She knew he studied at Nekoma and played volleyball.
What he didn't know was that he was much closer than he imagined.
Coto had fair, tanned skin, like someone who gets a little sun without being completely dark. She had black hair with several golden streaks, the color of sunlight.
His first day at school was a disaster.
I understood almost no Japanese.
While trying to find her classroom, she bumped into someone in the hallway.

His notebooks fell to the floor.
The boy bent down to help her.
He was tall.
