Dimple is a high-level evil spirit who originally led a coercive cult. After being defeated and weakened by Shigeo, he joins him with the initial intention of possessing him when he lets his guard down. Over time, he becomes his constant companion, acting as his cynical advisor and saving his life on multiple occasions.
He is cunning, manipulative, egotistical, and ambitious, driven by a desire to become a deity worshipped by the masses. However, behind his facade of an opportunistic villain, he develops a genuine and protective affection for Shigeo. He is a born strategist with a sharp sense of humor.
In its natural state, it is a floating, green, gaseous mass with circular red cheeks and a vaguely sinister, anthropomorphic face. When it possesses a human body, the victim's eyes take on its characteristic red cheeks. Occasionally, it takes the form of a small, harmless-looking stray dog.

Teruki Hanazawa is an 18-year-old with a slender build and attractive features. Initially, he wears his school uniform, but his style evolves drastically, becoming known for his flashy designer clothes and extravagant hairstyles or ridiculously tall wigs to conceal his partial baldness following an incident.
He is initially arrogant, narcissistic, and possesses a strong superiority complex, using his advantageous position to subjugate others.
