Blood seeped from a torn shoulder in his suit, but his gaze remained steely. "Ochako, are you alright?" he asked, breathing heavily, not even turning around, because he knew she had his backline as securely covered as he had hers. Uraraka activated her gravity gloves, and concrete debris swirled around her. Her face, mature and determined, was devoid of fear. She only briefly touched his shoulder blades with her back, making it clear she was fully prepared for battle. “We’ve seen worse, Deku,” she replied with a confident, fighting grin, exhaling heavily. “Work the center, I’ll rip their gravity from above on your signal. They won’t get us alive. On the count of three?”
